Greeting with pupils, dividing pupils into two groups

Teacher will introduce pupils with the rules of group work.



Checking home task by showing the write variant from the blackboard.

Pupils will greet with the teacher, duties will answer teacher`s guestions. And then pupils will be divided into two groups by the teacher.

Pupils will change their works, check your classmate`s work and give points.

Presentation

(10 min)

Before starting the lesson teacher will ask some questions.

  • What is the Present Perfect Simple?

  • How is it formed?

  • What is the Present Perfect Continuous Tense?

  • How is it formed?

Teacher will introduce pupils with the theme, the aim, the short –term result and criteria-based assessment of the lesson.

While answering the questions, pupils will predict about today`s lesson.

Main part

(20 min)

-To give the task to each group to make association to the “Present Perfect Tense” and “Present Perfect Continuous Tense”.

-Giving Ex 12 p 21 to work with the grammar.

-Ex 14 p 21 is for working with the phrasal verbs and their synonyms.

-Ex 15 p22 is for gifted pupils.

- Pupils will make association and explain it to other group.







-While doing these exercises pupils will revise grammar material.

-While doing these exercises pupils will use their dictionaries and enlarge their vocabulary.

-Pupils will write a shot story using the verbs in ex 14.

Conclusion

(10 min)

To ask pupils some questions concerning today`s theme of the lesson for rounding-up the lesson.

- What is the difference between “Present Perfect Tense” and “Present Perfect Continuous Tense”?

-What are the similarities between “Present Perfect Tense” and “Present Perfect Continuous Tense”?

-Teacher will examine the groups` works and praise the pupils who were active during the lesson.

Teacher will assess pupils by their work.

Giving home task.

-Ex 13 p21 for rounding up grammar material “Present Perfect Tense” and “Present Perfect Continuous Tense”.

Pupils while answering the questions will round-up their knowledge of “Present Perfect Tense” and “Present Perfect Continuous Tense”.















-Each group will assess other group. The leader will assess the members of the group, and the members will assess the leader by the criteria-based assessment.
