The theme: Classified Ads
The aims of the lesson:
To prepare and encourage pupils to achieve a good standard of English in their eighth year of learning;
To introduce new language in context drawing upon pupils’ skills and developing their ability to deduce meanings;
To practice listening for specific information, to improve pupils’ production of structure, vocabulary in communicative interactions.

II. Active presentation:
Look at the Key words. Which kinds of classified adverts do you find in newspapers in your country?
Read the adverts below. Which sections in the Key Words would you find them in? ex. 2 p. 60
Read the adverts again. Which of the adverts would you not trust much? Why not? Ex. 3 p. 60
Listen to there dialogues. Match them with three of the adverts ( a-h). ex. 4 p. 60
Read the dialogue below. Match the underlined examples (1-10) with the tenses and verb forms ( a-e) in the table. Ex. 5 p. 60
