I should like to be considered for the post of Junior Clerk, as advertised in the “Blightstone Courier” of 25th July.
Full details of my personal history are enclosed, and you will see that I have the educational attainments needed for this post.
My reason for wishing to change my present employment is that I am now seeking work with a lager organization, where hard work, reliability, and initiative might win me promotion to greater responsibility. In particular I should like to help with the interviewing of clients, for I feel I have a friendly and tactful personality that might prove useful in such work.

The Statement of Purpose
I consider University Education to be highly important in order to achieve my career aspirations and enhance my intellectual horizons.
I have become interested in Management because my grandmother is a successful businesswoman back in Russia. I like the way she deals the business and I’d gladly manage my own business in future. Therefore, my long-term vocational goal is to become a competent manager in the business world. A university degree will give me the knowledge and the skills needed to achieve this.
At present, I am studying a Business Foundation Course in Bellerbys College. It is very stimulating and useful, and it has strengthened my desire to study Management at University.
I believe I am a friendly and conscientious individual who shares a spectrum of interests. I follow sport and like music because they help me to relieve the pressure of life. It is also true to say that I am a well-balanced and tolerant person. These features carry me well through life in general, and through working and studying in a group of people. I enjoy taking part in different performances – it is to me to be in a team, to work with the people who share same interests. I suppose all this and the degree I have chosen will definitely allow me to become a well-trained professional manager.
My ambition is to have my own business – in the sphere of International Tourism – and to become a successful businesswoman. It is connected with and dependent on the economic growth of my native country – Russia. That is why completing Tertiary Education is an important goal in my life.
I hope very much that I will be given the opportunity to develop my full potential at a British University.
