Как и во всех языках, в английском языке имена суцествительные делятся на две группы:

1.      исчисляемые (которые можно пересчитать)

2.      неисчисляемые (которые нельзя пересчитать)

исчисляемые существительные – употребляются как в единственном, так и во множественном числе:

·         a bird – birds

·         a flower – flowers

·         a book - books

неисчисляемые существительные употребляются только в единственном числе.

Примеры неисчисляемых существительных:

Baggage, equipment, food, fruit, furniture, garbage, jewelry, mail, luggage, makeup, money, traffic, water, coffee, tea, milk, oil, blood, ice, butter, cheese, meat, gold, iron, air, smoke, pollution, rice, corn, grass, hair, pepper, salt, sugar, wheat.

Kazakh Traditional Food

In Kazakhstan people eat a lot of meat. Their traditional food is the Kazakh meat. Kazakh people are very hospitable. When they invite guests they also cook pilaf, kazy, kuyrdak. They have some traditional milk products. They are kurt, irimshik. Their traditional drinks are kymyz, shubat. These drinks are very useful for our health.

What’s your favourite food? Why do you like it?

How often does your family have the Kazakh meat?

What’s your favourite drink?

What other meals do people have in your contry?
