Holidays»,
2 задание — диалог-расспрос с опорой на
фотографию;

Sample answer:
I've chosen
photo number three. I'm good at taking pictures and I find it a very enjoyable
hobby. I took this photo when I was travelling during my holidays. In the
picture you can see a man scuba diving in the Red Sea. The person in the
picture is my new friend from France. He is wearing a diving suit and a mask.
He is watching corals and fascinating fishes while I'm taking picture of him.
The scene is very exiting and picturesque. The sea does look fabulous. I'd like
to say scuba diving is a good exercise to keep fit. I took this photo because I
want you to see all this amazing underwater world. I decided to show the
picture to you because you probably will get interested in the healthy life
style and while scuba diving in the Red Sea you will be to enjoy its beauty.
I'd love to go there the next holidays. So our holidays will do us a lot of
good. That's all I wanted to say.

These two pictures show people having meals. The first photo
shows a young couple eating in a restaurant. The second photo depicts a man and
a woman having their meal in a small cafe. What both pictures have in common is
that they show people having meals. Another similarity is that in both pictures
you can see two people, a man and a woman. The main difference of these
pictures is that the couple in the first picture is at the restaurant and the
couple in the second picture is in a small outdoor cafe. Another difference is
that the people in the left photo have official clothes on while the couple in
the right photo is dressed in casual clothes. In the left picture you can see
young people. The right picture shows a middle-aged couple. As for me I'd like
to eat in the outdoor cafe if the weather allows. I can wear my favourite jeans
and a T-shirt, I féel myself more comfortable in informal situations.

5. Is free wi-fi provided?
Sample answer:
I've chosen picture number one. I enjoy taking photos very much. Wherever
I go I always have a camera in my bag. I took this photo when I was visiting
Egypt with my aunt last summer. You can see a family feeding a camel in the zoo
in the picture. In fact the family in the photo lived in the neighboring room
at the hotel we stayed at. They seemed to be very nice people. We liked
spending our free time together. As you see the day is wonderful, the weather
is sunny and the family looks very happy. The father of the family is feeding a
camel with some popcorn. In my opinion the camel must be glad and happy too. I
took this photo because it's a lovely scene showing a friendly family. I'm
pretty confident that they love nature and animals in particular. I decided to
show the picture to my friend as the photo says about how to enjoy family
holiday. To sum it up, I'm fairly sure next time I'll have a trip with my
parents and my friend will do the same.
C6 Sample answer:
Both pictures show places where you can buy clothes. In the picture on
the left you can see a boutique. In the picture on the right there is a street
market full of different things. The main similarity of these photos is that
they both depict places for shopping. Another similarity is that both pictures
show goods placed on shelves and stalls. The difference of these pictures is
that there are different kinds of shops in them. In the photo on the left you
can see not so many pieces of clothes as in the photo on the right. In my
opinion expensive clothes can't be bought by many people. That's why there are
only a few items of clothes in the boutique. In the first picture there are
warm clothes, such as shirts, sweaters, suits whereas in the picture two one can
see clothes for summer: swimming suits, T-shirts and others. Personally, I buy
clothes in boutiques. But I do it when they offer goods for sale. These things
seem to be of the highest quality. It suits me perfectly. That's where I'd like
to end.

C5 Sample answer:
I've chosen picture number two. I am keen on photography and I always
have a camera with me wherever I go. I took this photo during my beach holiday
a year ago. In the picture you can see a beach at the resort where my family
stayed last summer. The beach is not so crowded because it is just the very
beginning of the season. There are several sea umbrellas and people lying under
them. In the background you can see a small piece of land penetrating the sea
covered with a green forest. The scenery is so wonderful and the weather is
lovely. The sea is calm, the sky is blue with some white clear clouds. I would
say that the day is perfect. I took this photo because I had a great time
swimming and sunbathing at the beach. I decided to show you this photo as I
want you to see my favourite type of holidays. That's where I'd like to
end.
C6 Sample answer:
These two pictures show people having fun in the sea. In the first photo
a young couple is playing with a dolphin. In my opinion they look very happy.
The dolphin seems to be smiling. In the second picture a man has just caught a
big fish. He is very excited and glad. To my mind he is fond of fishing and
catching such a fish is a great success for him. In both pictures you can see
people enjoying themselves in the sea. Both pictures show sea creatures living
in seas and oceans. The photos are different in a couple of ways. In the left
picture the dolphin, a sea creature is in the water whereas the right picture
depicts the fish out of the water. Another difference is that in the first
picture you can see the dolphin while the second photo shows the fish. Summarizing,
I may say that I'd prefer the first activity for two reasons. Firstly, I'm not
a great lover of fishing. Secondly, dolphins are so amazing animals that when I
have a chance to play with them I feel really happy.

C5 Sample answer:
I've
chosen picture number two. I am fond of taking photos as you know. When I have
my day off I don't miss a chance to visit sport cars competitions. As a rule, I
always take a camera with me and I took this photo last weekend. You can see
lots of cars running the race. They are of different colours: red, blue,
yellow. The red car is the leader. We can't see the face of the driver but we
can believe that he is very excited. In the background there is a police car
accompanying the race. The atmosphere of the race is so tough. It's a real
pleasure to watch the cars running with great speed. I know that you are
interested in sport and I decided to show you this photo because I want you to
see what one of my hobbies is. I thought this picture would draw your attention.
I'd like you to go to the competition with me and I hope you'll get fantastic
impressions.
C6 Sample answer:
These
photos show different types of dwelling. In the first picture you can see a
rural district while the right picture shows an urban one. The first photo
depicts a village surrounded by mountains and a small river. It looks very calm
and peaceful. In the second photo you can see a big modern city on the bank of
a river or an ocean. The thing these photos have in common is that they show
places where a man can live. Another similarity is that both pictures show
towns and villages situated around water sources. The most apparent difference
is that the first picture shows
a small rural settlement while in the second picture you can see a modern urban
city. The houses in the first picture are not high whereas one can see
skyscrapers made of glass and metal in the second photo, Another difference is
that in the left photo you can see many green plants while in the right picture
there is no greenery at all. I'm fairly sure I'd prefer a dynamic urban life to
a quiet rural way of living. So I'd like to live in a big modern city. That's
all I wanted to say.
