He was born on 28 th November, 1924 in the village Deyanovo Urzhum region into a peasant family. He was Russian. He graduated from the 7 classes of Aktygshaevskaya school. He was the commander of the battery 1664 of anti-tank artillery regiment 27th Army (Voronezh Front).
