I have fingers (hold up both hands, fingers spread)
And they all belong to me, (point to self)
I can make them do things –
Would you like to see?
I can shut them up tight (make fists)
I can open them wide (open hands)
I can put them together (place palms together)
I can make them all hide (put hands behind your back)
I can make them jump high (hands over head)
I can make them jump low (touch the floor)
I can fold them up quietly (fold hands in lap)
And hold them just so.

Knees and toes, knees and toes!

Eyes, ears, mouth and nose!
(часто “путаю” детей, увеличиваю темп)

This is my right hand,
I’ll raise it up high (Raise the right hand)

I’ll touch the sky. (Raise the left hand)
Right hand, (Show the right palm)

Roll them around. (Roll hands around)

(Stand on tiptoes; raise arms high up into the air)
Elephants’ trunks are big and strong.
 
(Make trunk with a hand and an arm)
Zebras have stripes and can gallop away,
 
(Gallop around in a circle)
While monkeys in the trees do sway.
(Sway back and forth)
Old crocodile swims in a pool so deep,
 
(Pretend to swim)
Turtles in the sun go to sleep.
(Lay head on hands and close eyes)

Hands down, clap, clap!
Turn yourself around and then you clap, clap!
Bend left, clap, clap!
Bend right, clap, clap!
Turn yourself around and then you clap, clap!

One, two – tie your shoe! (Try to tie shoes)
Three, four – mop the floor! (Move as you mop the floor)
Five, six – pick up bricks! (Make an imaginary wall)
Seven, eight – wash a plate! (As you wash plates with a duster)
Nine, ten – begin again!
(That’s the end!)
(повторяется несколько раз с увеличением темпа выполняемых действий)

(Three fingers up, rest head on hands.)
Fourth one said, “Let’s dive and dip.”
(Four fingers up, hand dives and dips.)
Fifth one said, “I spy a ship.”
(Five fingers up, peep out under hand.)
Fisherman’s boat comes,
(Fingers form V and move away from body.)
Line goes splash,
(Pantomime throwing fishing line.)
Away the five little fishies dash.
(Wiggle five fingers away.)

He bends and stretches, he won’t break.
Try and copy the shapes he makes
And be a bendy toy.
Well, he bends over here
He bends over there
As round as a ball
Or straight as a chair

He bends down low
 
Nods his head “yes”
 
Shakes it “no”.

I’ve got a body, (показать руками)
A very busy body (
потянуться)
And it goes everywhere with me. (

And on that body
I’ve got some hands (
трясем руками)
And I clap, clap here

If you want to be a monster, now’s your chance (разводим руками)
‘Cause everybody’s doing the monster dance, (имитируем танец)
You just stamp your feet,
 
Wave your arms around,
 
Stretch them up, stretch them up,
 
Then put them on the ground.
