Practical
value. My work is a practical guide
for the English teachers and Educators of English Language to start the
teaching in the context of the updated curriculum.

3. To improve pedagogical skills of teachers in the
context of the updated curriculum in the English language subject is very
important to me, because I teach the future teachers and educators.
4. New approaches. When I studied at school I
remember that we work with grammar and vocabulary on the lesson. But now
Communicating
in English is presented as a key skill in a global world where English is often
the language of business, academic and international communication which can
provide access to new opportunities and gives learners the chance to make
choices about how they develop their future careers. There are different definitions
of communication:
1. The act or
instance of communicating, the imparting or exchange of information, ideas or
feelings (Collins Dictionary);
2. The imparting
or exchanging of information by speaking, writing, or using some others medium
(Oxford Dictionary);
3. The act of
prosess of using words, sounds, signs, or behaviors, to express or exchange
information or to express your idias, thought, feeling, ent. To someone else
(Merriam-Webster Dictionary);
4. The imparting
or exchanging of information by speaking, writing or using some others medium
and means of sending or receiving information such as telephone lines or
computers (Google).
The
subject programme is aimed at the development of all types of speech activity:
listening,
speaking, reading, writing and use of English . The grammar is studied within
the lexical topics.
That`s
why The aim of my work: to help students to create communication skills, critical
thinking, in relation to creation the lesson plan.
Effective
communication skills. During my
pedagogical activity I`ve noted that effective communication doesn`t happen
overnight it`s a skill that has to be cultivated and natured. And some skills
can be practiced to build and develop communication skills: *active listening *
non-verbal communication* asking question * providing feedback *trust and
rapport.
By teaching English I show new
strategies that connected with updated educational program to my students. We
have specialized subject where we discussed new program, new approaches and
techniques. There is my group. They are future English teachers. Motto of my
groups ‘Don`t be scared about making mistakes. At the beginning, of studying
English, some of them has barriers: can`t speak English, difficulties by
speaking, fear be making mistakes, I can do it, I can`t pronounce correct and
enc. I`ll tell you How we improve communication skills in our college with my
student: *Improve grammar and listening skills * vocabulary* read books, watch
video and listen to music * use phonetic exercises * play games* talk to
yourself in English * teach each other * speak with native speaker in some
course or in our English club. I`ll share with you some techniques that I used
in my practice of teaching younger teachers and educators:
1. Greeting. At the beginning of the lesson we are
greeting each other. Using smiles students tell each other good day with
different emotions.
2. Who am I?. After that I presented about myself using
some pictures or numbers. I have some numbers 3,32,2008. Student should guess,
how these numbers connected with me.
3. I`m …. And I Like….. (mimic). For me is very important
to know with whom I`ll work. I ask students say the name and show me some
interesting information about their hobby.
4. What is the theme of our lesson? I`ve a box. Students
should guess what is it in my box. (ex. box with cat- the theme is Pets). This
technique I used that my student not I name the theme of the lesson.
5. Sentences without words (word order). Each student
becomes one word and should show this word.
6. At the beginning of the lesson I use conversation card,
loap game, cards for describing people and enc.
7. “5 minute activity” – Students have only 5 minute and
they should write 3 words in each category.
8. “Odd man out” – Students see 4 words. One word doesn`t
go with the rest for the same reason. Students should spot the odd one and
highlight.
9. Board game is a good activity. Students through the
cube, move the chip forward and answer question or do some tasks.
10. Logic game. Students read the text and recognize how, hwo, where, and
when someone do something.
11. Ball with irregular verbs is very interesting and easy way to learn
verbs.
We learn all types of
suffixes using some types of flowers (rose, tulip, lily). We learn grammar
using detective story. Students search answers like detective.
«Magic is believing in yourself ,if you can do that,
you can make anything happen» Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Believe in
yourself and your student.
