The theme: Which room do you like?
The aims of the lesson:
a) to enlarge pupil’s vocabulary, to pay attention to their pronunciation;
b) to develop pupils’ skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking speech;
c) to develop the interest to English language, to teach pupils to respect each other and the culture of another nations to bring up them to love English language.
The type of the lesson: mixed lesson.
The technology of the lesson: demonstrative lesson: communicative

- What month is it now?

- And what date is it today?
- Today is the 6th of February.
- Now open your books and exercise-books. @Write today’s date and new theme in your exercise-books. Today’s our new theme is “Which room do you like?”

1st row- write essay about “My room”
2nd row- write essay about “My kitchen”

III. New words:
Today we have new words linking with the theme house. Write down please, these words in your vocabulary:

Look at the poster: rooms in a flat. Write correct words to each room.

1. Kitchen:
bed, cupboards, fridge, table;
2. Living-room:
sofa, television, fire, dollars;
3. Bedroom:
bed, lamp, window, unit;
4. Study:
Computer, cooker, armchair, books;
5. Bathroom:
Bath, cupboard, carpet.
VII. Poem: “My House.”
Listen to me and repeat after me. Then you must learn by heart this poem.
“My House.”
I run home from school each day
I don’t want to be late
And when I get home, sweet home
I always feel so great.
Home is full of happiness
The perfect place for me.
Home is always full of love
It’s where I want to be.
VIII. Giving home task:
- Your home task will be to learn by heart poem “My House” and new words, ex: 13 p.125, write essay “My Dream house.”
