THEME THOUGHTS
1. The Bible
Some people say that God made the world.
Others argue, «What kind of a God would make a world like
this? A world full of so much violence and pain, hurt and death!»
God didn’t make this world as we know it and see it.
We know this because of what we read in the Bible. In this
book of Genesis we a find a description of how and what God made.
One of the purposes of the Bible is to help people discover
and discern what comes from God’s original perfect creation and what comes from
the present broken world.
«Discern» means to recognize o tell the difference. So we
are going to be discovering what is different about God’s original creation and
what is different about broken creation. We are going to use three sources of
explore creations: music, the Bible and observation of the real world we live
in.
