«Ethic code of a Nurse in Russia and Britain: comparison and analysis».

Topicality.
The
field of ethics has been described as the basis for choosing the kind of
professional life. Today, for the success of the nurse must
not only be fluent in professional competences, but also be prepared from an
ethical point of view. Analysis of the Code of Ethics of Russia and the UK
can improve the efficiency of the nurse in the relationship nurse - patient,
and to identify existing problems in this area.
The object of the
research.
Finding
out similarities and differences between medical ethics in Great
Britain and Russia in order to facilitate exchange of experience of two
countries in ethics nursing practice and to eliminate difficulties which may
appeal on this field.

relations nurse – patient.

have an interrogation among nursing on this field.

Analysis Code of Nursing Ethics in Russia
and the UK and Drafting of questionnaires and conducting surveys of nurses
based on conducting practical training.

have analyzed the codes of ethics of nurses in the field of relationships nurse

We
conducted a survey of nurses in this direction on the basis of hospital for war
veterans and city hospital number 20 in the amount of 42 people. The question
of how often workers are faced with ethical dilemmas in the workplace in
hospital for war veterans weekly face ethical challenges 15 people daily - 9
people, once a year or less - 7 people. Never-man 3.
This
question in a city hospital number 20 weekly face ethical problems at work – 4,
daily - 6 people.
In
hospital for war veterans of the source of knowledge of the ethical code of
nurses Russia responded as follows: 24-own experience, while learning-18
reading additional literature-14, the other 2.
In the city
hospital number 20 on the question of the source of knowledge of the ethical
code of nurses Russia responded as follows: 8-own experience, while learning-2.

From
the above, we can find out conclusions on the hospital for war veterans :
1.
Often faced with ethical dilemmas in the workplace - weekly 15 people, every
day - 9 people. Source of knowledge of the ethical code of the Russian Federation at the hospital for war veterans is the most often noticed from their
own experience at the workplace and during training.

.From the above it can be concluded by the city hospital number 20 is increasingly
faced with ethical problems at the workplace every day - 6 people, weekly - 4. Source
of knowledge of the Russian Federation Code of Ethics for Nurses in the city
hospital is from their own experience - 8 people, during training -2.
Conclusions.
- Based
on these results we can conclude that there is the relevance of this
problem among nurses in Russia that has evidenced by the survey results.
- The
incidence of ethical issues at work in the hospital for war veterans is
higher than in the city hospital number 20. This is due to the cohort of
patients and the frequency of ward nurses’ work.
- General
provisions in the Code of Ethics of the nurse in Russia
and the UK are the provision of professional competence, respect and
humane treatment of the patient, the right to information and
participation in research.
- Differences
in the Code of ethics of nurse in Russia and the UK
are the following: the provision of palliative care, the provision of an
emergency, training of medical students, the need for further training of
nurses, involving in volunteering, unforeseen situations at the workplace,
practical steps to implement the provisions of the Code.
Suggestions.
1. Continue to study
the ethical code of Russia and Great Britain, and other countries, due to the
need for more detailed discussion of the ethical issues of nurse’s professional
activity.
2. Conduct a survey
of health workers in the UK, which would reveal the polarity of views on the
same problematic situation among nurses,
