 «There is no place like home» the proverb says. And we can’ t deny this fact. We love our motherland, our native place be  it a large city or a small village.

As for me I ‘m very proud of native village of  Prilepy  because there are many interesting people and a lot of magnificent places there which I m going to tell you about.

Object of investigation - Prilepy and surrounding villages.

Subject of investigation - history of Prilepy and it’s modern days.

Problem of investigation - to learn if our village can become one of the points of the excursion “Along Tula land”.

The aim of the investigation-to show the importance of  small  motherland in one’s life.

Tasks of the investigation:

- to find material about Prilepy;

- to find information about famous people of our village;

- to think over the variant of making Prilepy one of the points of the excursion “Along Tula land”.

The following methods were used:

Ø  Searching and discovering information from old people of the village;

Ø  Using archival files;

Ø  Translating into English;

Ø  Taking pictures;

Ø  Using computer technologies.

 I would like to tell you about  widely known and unknown pages of  history of my motherland, about people who became famous. Some pages of my excursion show unknown facts which you can’t see in the guide-books. That’s why I think that my project may be used  as a material to the excursion “Along Tula land”.

Prilepy is rich in beautiful places, the picturesque nature and also villages with interesting history and a lot of sights. Tourists from different towns and cities come to our village and go sightseeing. There is a remarkable corner of the nature where one can see many woods along the banks of the Upa-river. I invite you to visit my native place to learn a little about its history and to admire by the beauty of our nature.

There is a church in our village where many people come on orthodox holidays. For many years it was empty, but now people want to restore it.

Not very far from the church one can see the well of seven brothers .Nobody remembers the legend about this well, but they come there to take water  which help people to get rid of illness.

My village is situated 20 km from Tula. From different sources I learned that in the 17-th century our village belonged to Sukhodolskiy parish which included 9 little villages .There lived famous landowners: the Apasovs in the village of Phrolovka,the Provodins in  the village of Bolshaya Strekalovka, the Logunovs and the Zissermans in the village of Lutovinovo, the Phigners in the village of Lobinskoe. One can see the remains of the landowners estates in their villages.

The Upa- river is attractive in different seasons. In summer it is a small, silent river. Picturesque banks, beauty of the nature – all it does not leave indifferent any tourist.  Children  like to swim in the river. In spring the silent small river comes out of banks and floods some parts of the village.

Prilepy became world-famous thanks to our horse-breeding farm. It has its own history which is closely connected with the history of Russian horse – breeding.

Leonid Gartung had a small estate in Prilepy. He used his estate for horse-breeding. He was married Mariya Alexandrovna the elder daughter of Alexandr Pushkin.

In 1866 merchant Dobrynin bought Gartung’ s estate in Prilepy. Dobrynin ‘s name was widely known in Tula. Nikolai Nikitovich began to buy pedigree horses which became famous after his death. Prilepskiy horse-farm became the centre of breeding Orlovskiy trotters in Russia.

After Dorynin ‘s death in 1907 his horse-farm was sold to Yakov Butovich( a landowner from Kherson). Yakov Butovich was delighted  by  beautiful view of Prilepy. The Upa-river, huge meadows and a big hill(called by the people Velikanskiy), gardens and forests tied Butovich’ s heart to Prilepy once and forever. Butovich was not only a talented horse-farm owner, but also a gifted scientist.

Butovich also organized a picture gallery in Prilepy. His friend N.Samokish (professor of the Academy of Arts) often visited Prilepy. He made pictures of famous horses. Academician Phrents and his son  worked in Prilepy over their famous picture «Tabun Butovicha».

In 1928 Yakov Butovich was arrested «as the enemy of nation and the saboteur». He spent three years in prison then in 1937 he was arrested again and was executed by shooting. Only in 1989 he      was fully exonerated.

Now Prilepskiy horse-breeding farm has different kinds of   horses: Russian trotters , heavy draught  horses and ponies. It has a museum where one can see reproduction of pictures from Butovich’s collection, an old arm-chair and many other things.

Our school has a museum devoted to the history of Prilepskiy horse farm. It has rich material devoted to Mariya and Alexandr Gartung Nikolai Dobrynin and Yakov Butovich. You can see there prizes and archive  documents, photos of simple people who take care of  horses. The other part of the museum is devoted to the history of our village. One can see old things which were used in everyday life in our village many years ago.).

Many people from different towns and cities visit our museum. In 2007 the descendants   of  the owner of manorial estate in Lutovinovo the Zissermans visited our school museum .They came from Australia to bow to the memory of their great-great grandparents.

Our village is also famous for its «Farewell to winter » festivals. These holidays are very popular in our region. Many Tulavites  and  even Muscovites like our festivals. You can see horse-races on trotters and ponies there. You can also count on totalizator. The children are happy to ride ponies, to toboggan, to take part in different competitions and of course to eat hot pancakes with honey and tea.

My village is  beautiful and quiet. Different shades and colours beautify the landscape. The air is always fresh with the smell of earth. My roots are in the village where nobody seems to be in a hurry.

It’s the best place on the Earth. I think it will be very interesting for many people to visit Prilepy and to see everything with your own eyes. I’m sure that it may become one of the points of the excursion “Along Tula land”.

 «Нет  места краше, чем Родина  наша» гласит русская пословица, и мы не можем отрицать этот факт. Мы любим свою Родину, место, в котором мы родились, будь это большой город или маленькая деревенька.

Я очень горжусь своим родным поселком Прилепы, потому что в нем раньше жили многие  знаменитые люди, здесь очень много красивых мест, о которых я вам расскажу.

Объект исследования – поселок Прилепы и близлежащие деревни

Предметом исследования является история поселка Прилепы и его современность.

Проблема исследования – выяснить, может ли поселок Прилепы стать одним из пунктов туристического маршрута «По Тульской земле»

Цель исследования – показать необходимость и значимость малой родины в жизни человека.

Для   достижения   поставленных   целей  я     определяю   задачи   своего исследования:

• собрать материал об истории возникновения и развития поселка Прилепы;
• записать и проанализировать воспоминания старых жителей поселка и близлежащих  деревень;
• продумать варианты превращения поселка в один из пунктов туристического маршрута «По Тульской земле»
• узнать об известных жителях поселка
• В ходе исследования применялись следующие методы:
• интервью и запись воспоминаний жителей деревни;
• сбор информации;
• перевод  собранной информации  на английский язык
• фотографирование местности

Организация исследования.

I этап – ознакомление с литературой по этой теме, подборка статей, теоретическое обоснование проблемы.

II этап – обобщение и составление плана и определение содержания данной работы.

III этап – оформление работы;

IV этап – создание презентации, подготовка к защите.

Структура и объём работы.

ü   Работа состоит из введения, основной части,  заключения, списка использованной литературы.

ü   Общий объём: 8 листов.

Практическая ценность работы. В проекте подробно рассказывается об истории известных и неизвестных страничек моей малой родины, о людях, которые своей жизнью прославили этот край.   Отдельные фрагменты экскурсии содержат малоизвестные факты ,интересные своими подробностями и сведениями, которые редко можно встретить в путеводителях. Поэтому считаю, что материал может быть использован при составлении туристического маршрута «По Тульской земле».

В Прилепах очень много красивых мест, живописных уголков природы, а также маленьких деревень, каждая из которых имеет свою историю, и множество достопримечательностей. Люди из больших и маленьких городов приезжают в нашу деревню, чтобы полюбоваться красотой природы и посетить интересные места. Я приглашаю вас посетить мой поселок, немного познакомиться с его историей, легендами и полюбоваться красотой природы.

Река Упа привлекательна в любое время года. Живописные берега, красота природы никого не оставляет равнодушным. Тихая и спокойная летом речка весной выходит из берегов и затапливает часть поселка.

Мой поселок находится в 20 километрах от Тулы. Прилепы стали всемирно известны, благодаря конному заводу. Он имеет свою историю, которая неразрывно связана с историей русского коневодства.

Из различных источников я узнала, что в  17 веке наша деревня относилась к Суходольскому приходу, в который входили 9 деревень. Здесь  жили знаменитые помещики: Апасовы в д.Фроловка, Зиссерманы  в Лутовиново, Проводины в Большой Стрекаловке, Фигнеры в Лобынском.

В то время Прилепы принадлежали князьям Гагариным, затем помещикам Скаржинским, а в 19 веке-Леониду Николаевичу Гартунгу (женатому на старшей дочери А.С.Пушкина Марии Александровне), который использовал имение в коневодческих целях .В 1866 год купец Николай Никитович Добрынин купил у Л.Н.Гартунга имение Прилепы. В 1907 году херсонский помещик, потомственный дворянин Яков Иванович Бутович приобрел  имение Прилепы. Бутович был очарован красотой прилепских окрестностей .

Величавый изгиб Упы, привольные приупские луга, огромный бугор,  прозванный в народе Великанским, многочисленные сады и лесные массивы-все это привязало его сердце к Прилепам раз и навсегда.

Заслуги Я.И.Бутовича перед Отечеством  велики. Известный коннозаводчик и общественный деятель своего времени, ученый- ипполог , оставивший большой след в области коневодства.

Яков Иванович создал картинную галерею в Прилепах. Его друг Н.Самокиш часто гостил в Прилепах. В 1910-1911 годах в  Прилепском конном заводе академик Р.Ф.Френц работал над огромным полотном «Табун Бутовича». Ему помогал сын, известный впоследствии художник Р.Р.Френц. Завод и музей считались лучшими в стране. По ложному доносу Я.И.Бутович был арестован в 1928 году «как враг народа и саботажник».Три года он провел в тюрьме, затем в 1937 году вновь арестован и расстрелян. Реабилитирован в 1989.

В 2003 году была напечатана 1 книга воспоминаний Бутовича  «Мои Полканы и Лебеди», а в 2005-вторая книга «Лошади души моей».

В настоящее время в Прилепском конезаводе разводят рысаков, тяжеловозов и пони. Здесь вы можете увидеть различные породы лошадей, а в музее  конезавода вам покажут репродукции картин из коллекции Я.И.Бутовича, старинные часы, кресло, конную упряжь.

Вы можете также посетить школьный музей, посвященный истории конезавода. Там  вы увидите материалы, рассказывающие о Л.Гартунге, Н.Н.Добрынине, Я.И.Бутовиче, познакомитесь с архивными материалами, увидите фото простых тружеников конного завода .Другая часть музея рассказывает об истории нашей  деревни .В ней представлены старинные предметы обихода, которыми пользовались жители в окрестных деревнях . В 2007 году потомки Зиссермана из Австралии посещали наш школьный музей и село Лутовиново, где располагалась дворянская усадьба их предков.

Очень интересно проходит в Прилепах праздник Проводов русской зимы. Многие туляки и москвичи любят приезжать к нам на праздник, чтобы посмотреть конно-спортивные состязания, сделать ставки на тотализаторе и просто отдохнуть. Дети любят кататься на пони, на санках с ледяной горки, есть горячие блины с медом и чаем.

В деревне Кишкино находится храм Рождества Пресвятой  Богородицы. Много лет храм пустовал, а  теперь в нем по христианским  праздникам проходят богослужения.

Недалеко от храма Рождества Пресвятой Богородицы находится колодец, называемый Семибратским. Никто точно не помнит легенду о семи братьях, но издавна это место считалось святым. На этом роднике люди обращаются  к Богу с молитвами о здоровье. Люди верят в силу  этой воды. 

Моя деревня тихая и спокойная. Различные краски и тени усиливают красоту пейзажа. Воздух всегда свежий. Мои корни в деревне, где никто никуда не спешит. Это самое лучшее место на земле. Я думаю, что многим людям захочется посетить Прилепы и увидеть все собственными глазами. Я уверена, что когда-нибудь мой поселок станет одной из точек туристического маршрута «По Тульской земле».
