  To find what role music plays in our live.
  
  Tasks:
  - to collect information
  - to analyze the information
  to determine the favourite teenagers’ style of music
  - to get acquainted with different types of music
  to analyze the influence of music on the teenager’s mind
  - to conduct a survey among students of the lyceum №4
  - music as a means of understanding the world
  
  
  Hypothesis:
  Music is one of the ways of understanding the world. It plays an important role in shaping the personality. It is impossible to imagine life of the modern teenager without music.

  Music as a way of self-expression.
  
  In today's world, many teens want to stand out from the rest. Desire to be heard and different from others is correctly. Someone thinks he is better than others due to the fact that he listens to specific music. They learn, communicate and spend time together. All this affects the person's identity. Preferring a certain music a man changes his personality. It is no secret that the items of clothing, a person's appearance affect his mind and way of thinking.

  Rock as a separate genre came from "black" American blues, which appeared in the 20-30s.   Conclusion
  
  Through our project, we have learned what role music plays in the life of a teenager. We also have learned what kinds of music are the most popular among high school students .On the basis of this study it can be said that music plays an important role in our lives. It affects the behaviour and relations of teenagers.
