Клубный час “ALL WE NEED IS LOVE ”


( для воспитанников среднего уровня)

Тип занятия: урок-беседа по темам «Дружба и любовь» , «Характер человека».



Цель: активизировать интерес воспитанников к традициям Великобритании; обобщить знания по темам и применить их в речи.


Воспитательные задачи: развивать интерес к традициям страны изучаемого языка; развивать положительные личностные качества (ответственность, доброжелательность, чувство взаимопомощи).


Оборудование: бумажные сердечки для игры, карточки с заданиями, магнитофон с записью песни.



Конспект занятия.


1.Организационный момент. Создание атмосферы, соответствующей теме беседы.

Group work organizer:You will listen to the song now. Try to guess what we are going to talk about during the lesson. Mariah CareyWithout You”. Звучит песня, и воспитанники догадываются, о чем пойдёт речь на занятии.

На доске написана загадка, предлагается её отгадать.

It always beats and hops

It never sleeps or stops

And never we part

With our little……”

(Heart)

Работа с песней. Воспитанники слушают песню и восполняют пробелы в заданиях на листах, подставляя пропущенные слова.


Беседа по содержанию песни.

2. Беседа:

- об истории возникновения праздника;

- почему людям нравится этот праздник;

- что включает в себя понятие «любовь»;

- легенды о любви.

- Read some facts about the history, symbols and traditions of Valentine’s Day and tell the others.


(ребята в игре разделяются на пары для выполнения задания)

3. Игра «Найди свою половинку» - предлагаются половинки сердечек, нужно найти соответствующие половинки)


- What is “love”? Can you give a definition to the word?

Love is warm, kind feeling, fondness, affectionate and tender devotion.

  1. What is the difference between love and friendship?

  2. What is the difference between love and the feeling of falling in love?

  3. What is the difference between love to opposite sex and to our parents?

  4. What is more important to love or to be loved?

  5. Does money pay any role in love or friendship?

  6. To what or to whom can we feel love? (Motherland, parents, sweethearts, nature, activities, pets,art,friends)

- Legends about loveA man and a woman”, “Hinemoa” Ребята читают легенды по-английски и рассказывают друг другу по-русски.


4. Cловарная работа.

What emotions can love arouse in us? Which of these are positive and negative?

5.Chose an adjective to describe each of the following people:

a) Once Ham has decided to do something? It’s impossible to make him change his mind.

Ребятам предлагается подумать какими качествами должен обладать настоящий друг.


6. Read a story and discuss it. “ A broken vase”

A BROKEN VASE

The young man was going to marry a beautiful girl.

One day the girl said to him that the next day she would celebrate her birthday and invited him to her birthday party. The young man was eager to make her a present, so he went to a gift shop. There he saw many beautiful things. Of all the things he particularly liked the vases. But they were very expensive, and as he had very little money he had to leave the shop without buying anything.

Walking to the door he suddenly heard a noise: one of the vases fell on the floor and broke two pieces. A brilliant idea came to his mind. He came up to the counter and asked the salesman to wrap up the broken vase he wanted to buy.

The salesman got a little surprised but did what the young man had asked him to do.

The young man took the parcel and went straight to the girl's place. By the time he entered the room the guests had already gathered. Everybody was enjoying the party.

Some of the people were dancing, others were talking, joking and laughing. Saying "Many happy returns of the day", the young man told the girl that he had bought a small present for her. With these words he began to unwrap the parcel.

Suddenly he got pale and said. "I am afraid, I have broken it. There were so many people in the bus..." But when he unwrapped the parcel, he saw that the salesman had wrapped up each piece of the vase separately.

Topics for discussion.

1. Can love do everything? Prove it by the story.

2. Poverty is a very bad thing, isn't it?

3. Who is more independent in life - the rich or the poor?

4. What would you do in the same situation if you were the boy?

5. What would you do if you were the girl?

6. Did they continue to be friends?

7. Were they happy in life?

8. Did the young people marry?

9. Love and money are the strongest things in life, aren't they?

10. Comment on the saying "not for love or money."


Ребята читают рассказ, выполняют задание, обсуждают мораль.


7. Клубный час заканчивается. Звучит песня “Without You”.Руководитель подводит итог, высказывает пожелания крепкой дружбы и любви.
