Урок в 5 классе «Здоровый образ жизни»

Цели:

*    Формировать навыки чтения;

*    Обобщать и систематизировать знания учащихся по теме «Здоровый образ жизни».

Задачи:

*    Развивающие:

ü развитие внимания, памяти, воображения;

*    Воспитательные:

ü формирование ценностного отношения к своему здоровью.

*    Образовательные:

ü тренировка навыков чтения и активизация лексики по теме «Здоровый образ жизни»;

ü развитие навыков говорения с опорой на текст.

Оснащение урока:

ü ИКТ: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер;

ü дидактический раздаточный материал: карточки-задания;

ü презентации учителя и доска.

 

 

 

Ход урока.

1.     Организационный момент.

Приветствие (погода, как ты себя чувствуешь?)

Вступление:

Now we are going to watch a short video. After it you should choose the best title for the film.

On the blackboard you can see three proverbs, which of them is the best title for the film.

A wolf in sheep's clothing.

Health is above wealth.

A great ship asks deep waters.

What title is the best?

Today we are going to speak about health. I don’t think there is anything more important than health. Remember, please, what Russian people say when they meet each other. They say «Здравствуйте!». It means that they wish each other to be healthy.

1.      Фонетическая зарядка. 

[ᴂ] – examine, gymnastics,cabbage

[ᴧ] – tongue, blood, recover, touch, suffer, lung, pulse, stomach, worry, fast   food, hungry

[ɒ] – swallow, cough, product, dairy product

[θ] – throat, throw-threw-thrown, overthrow-overthrew-overthrown

[i:] – sneeze, routine, receive,

[ai] – diet, fry, rise, wise, rye bread

[i] - bitter

[e] – chest, pressure, healthy, wealthy, temperature, medicine, wrestling

 

And there are a lot of proverbs about health. What are they? How do you understand them?

Health is above wealth. (It is better to be a healthy poor, than an ill king.)

An apple a day keeps doctors away. (if you eat fruit and vegetables you won’t be ill.

Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. (If you keep daily routine you will be healthy, wealthy and wise).

3.Лексическая разминка.

And now I am going to set you riddles and you are to guess them:

•        The front of the neck (throat)

•        Having a bad taste (bitter)

•        Milk, cheese, cottage cheese (dairy products)

•        It can be high or low (blood pressure)

•        It can be high ( temperature)

•        A movable organ in the mouth (tongue)

•        To look at smth very carefully (examine)

•        To move food or drink down the throat to the stomach (swallow)

•        To feel better after the illness (recover)

•        The upper, front part of the body (chest)

•        You can feel it if you touch it (pulse)

•        Our organs of breathing (Lungs)

•        If you want to be fit you should keep to a …. ( diet)

•        When you do it people wish you to be healthy (sneeze)

•        You take it when you are ill (a medicine)

 

 

The next task is to match the proverbs. You have got 3 min.

4.     FINISHTHEPROVERBS (раздатка, работа в группах)

Health is

the best wealth.

Wealth is

nothing without health.

You are

what you eat.

Early to bed and

early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

Eat to live

,but not live to eat.

An apple a day

keeps the doctor away.

Don’t worry

, be happy.

Now let’s read them.

5.     Развитие навыков устной речи.

Работа в группах. 

На листе ватмана распределить в две колонки что следует и не следует делать чтобы быть здоровым

               Main rules of a healthy lifestyle.

In front of you there are sheets of papers, they are mixed. You should put them into two columns. The 1st column is what you should do in order to be healthy and the 2nd is what you shouldn’t do, you have 3 min.

Shouldn't do:

 

Eat healthy food,

Smoke,

go in for sports,

drink alcohol,

keep daily routine,

sit in front of the computer for a long time,

keep to a diet,

watch TV too long,

go to bed early

eat too much sweets,

and get up early….

eat fast food,

 

eat between meals…

Учащиеся по группам зачитывают

свои ответы.

 

 

6.     Let’s talk about your healthy lifestyle.

Вопрос-ответ. Учащиеся вытягивают вопросы и отвечают на них по очереди.

1. How often do you do your morning exercises?

2. Do you clean your teeth before meal or after it?

3. How long does it take you to do your homework?

4. When do you go to bed?

5. Do you often sit late?

6. What healthy food do you know?

7. Do you often eat fast food?

8. Why is it bad to eat fast food?

9. Why is it bad to drink Coca-Cola?

10. How often should you visit a dentist?

11.What sport do you go in for?

12. Do you keep a diet?

 

7.     Работа с текстом. Чтение текста с разными интонациями.

Дотекстовые упражнения.

На этом этапе вводим незнакомые слова: get hungry=want to eat; cabbage; peas; rye bread; public places=places with a lot of people; to receive guests=to have guests at home. (Слайд № 11) уч-ся находят ответы на поставленные вопросы.

 Healthy lifestyle of Max

                           Hello. My name is Max. Not long ago I decided to lead healthy life. Let me tell you something about it. I don’t get up very early but I begin my day with exercises. I go out and run about my house twenty times. Then I get hungry and have breakfast. I have a big glass of orange juice and then a cup of tea. At about one I have my lunch. At lunch I eat a lot of vegetables: cabbage, carrots, peas, fresh cucumbers, a piece of rye bread and a cup of tea without sugar, of course. Sometimes I don’t have any lunch, but it is not healthy at all. It happens when I’m busy in the city. I don’t like to have meals in public places. I sometimes have dinner in the evening when I’m hungry or when I have guests at home. I don’t like to receive guests because we usually eat a lot of meat and fish and other heavy things which don’t help you to be fit. My motto is: “Eat to live, but not live to eat”.

Do you understand the text? Who is Max? How old is he? Is he a student or a little boy?

Questions:

1.             How many times does Max run around his house?

2.             What does he eat to keep fit?

3.             Where doesn’t Max like to eat?

4.             Why doesn’t Max like to have guests at home?

5.             What is Max’s motto?

 

 

На основе данного текста учащиеся выделяют ключевые слова для собственного рассказа о здоровом образе жизни.

Look at the screen. There are key words in red color. We are going to retell the text and use these key words to talk about your healthy lifestyle.
