Тема « The English-speaking countries»
Тип учебного занятия: урок комплексного
применения ЗУН учащихся.
Цель для учителя: создать благоприятные условия для
самостоятельного комплексного применения знаний, умений, навыков учащихся и
осуществить их перенос в новые условия.
Задачи:
обобщить и систематизировать
знания обучающихся по изученной теме и применить их в новых условиях при
решении определенных коммуникативных задач;
формировать предметные
компетенции;
стимулировать интерес к изучению
английского языка;
развивать монологическую и
диалогическую речь, умение рассуждать и выделять главное, работать в паре и
группе, оценивать себя и товарища, умение доказывать, делать выводы;
воспитывать культуру речи и
общения, самостоятельность.

Организационный
момент
Цель:
проверить
организацию обучающихся к началу урока.

взаимное приветствие;

проверить готовность обучающихся к работе;

Актуализация
опорных знаний
Цель: подготовить учащихся к
самостоятельному выводу темы урока, принятию целей и задач урока, а также актуализировать
и закрепить опорные знания и умения, необходимые для дальнейшего применения.
Look
at the screen.You can see some flags of different countries. Name these
countries and their capitals and guess what unites them. (Слайд 1)
You
are right. The names of these countries are the UK, the USA, Australia, New
Zealand and Canada.
And
as you have guessed English is spoken as an official language in all these
countries.

3.2.Task: make up cinquains about the
English language. I remind you that it is a kind of a poem, which consists
of 5 lines:
the
first line – a
general word;
the
second line – two
adjectives which describe this word;
the
third line – 3
verbs on the topic;
the
fourth line – the
main idea of your «poem» (3-4 words);
the
last line – a
synonym of the general word ( English).

in groups. Present your cinquains to the class. Choose the best one.

4.1.Task: return to the beginning of the
lesson, look through the aims of the lesson and say if you have achieved them.
