Конспект урока английского языка "Дом в жизни людей" в 5 классе (с презентацией)

Цель урока:

систематизировать и обобщить знания учащихся лексического и грамматического материала по теме “Дом. Квартира”

Задачи урока:

1. Образовательные:

·         активизация употребления изученной лексики по теме;

·         знание тематической лексики, выработка навыков ее употребления в различных речевых структурах в устной речи и письме;

·         знакомство с новой лексикой;  

·          соединение нового материала с изученным ранее (во всех видах речевой деятельности);

·         применение новых языковых средств для решения различных коммуникативных задач (включая задания творческого, проектного характера);

·         активизация  грамматического материала (конструкция there is / there are) в устной  речи;

·         тренировать навыки чтения, умения высказывать свое мнение по теме;

·         совершенствование навыков аудирования, осмысленное восприятие учащимися информации   на слух;

·         показать использование компьютерных технологий на уроке английского языка;

·         развивать мотивацию к дальнейшему овладению английским языком.

2. Познавательные:

·         приобретение знаний об устройстве типичного британского дома, постижение менталитета других народов;  

·         приобретение лингвострановедческих знаний;

·         расширение филологического кругозора.

     3.  Развивающие:

·         развитие поликультурной компетенции учащихся через знакомство с типами домов и уклада жизни англичан;

·         развитие логики мышления, умения говорить доказательно;

·         развитие внимания, памяти, умения воспринимать и сравнивать;

·         развитие способности к догадке, воображению;

·         развитие умения анализировать услышанную информацию и выражать интерес и своё отношение к услышанному;

·          развитие умения работать в группе.

4.  Воспитательные:

·  воспитание чувства ответственности перед своими одноклассниками;

·   воспитание этики взаимоотношений;

·   воспитание коммуникационной культуры, уважительного, но критичного отношения к каждой точке зрения, способствовать выработке собственного мнения;

·    воспитание чувства сотрудничества;

·   формирование способности к целеустремленной работе для достижения совместных целей;

·   способствовать осознанию значения дома семьи как величайшей ценности в жизни человека, воспитание любви к родному дому,  выражать свои чувства к образу дома.

I. Начало урока. Организационный момент, установка на успешную работу.   

Приветствие учителя.

T: The ship is sailing,
     the flag is waving.
     Hello, my friends, hello!
     The sun is shining,
     The stars are smiling.
     Hello, my friends, hello!
     We'll be together in any weather
     With you my friends, with you.

 T: Good morning, dear children and оur guests! I’m glad to see you today. How are you? I’m fine and I hope so you are. Turn to each other, touch your hands and try to say some polite words to each other.

(Учащиеся   берут друг друга за руки и говорят вежливые, приятные слова.)

P2: Nice to meet you.

P3: Be happy.  etc.

II. Определение темы урока.

T: Look at the screen. What is it in English?

Pp: A house.

(На экране появляется слово house, а затем home.)

T:  Что вы можете сказать об этих словах? Одинаковое ли у них значение? Знаете ли вы различие между словами  "a house"  и  "a home"?  

(Учащиеся объясняют различие в значении слов).

T: Will you be so kind to listen to the definition of the word “дом” from Ozhegov’s vocabulary of the Russian Language. ( С. И. Ожегов “Толковый словарь русского языка” Москва, 1997, стр. 174)

(Один из учащихся зачитывает определение слова “дом”).

1.  Жилое (или для учреждения) здание.
2.  Своё жильё, а также семья, люди, живущие вместе, их хозяйство.
3. Место, где живут люди, объединёнными общими интересами, условиями существования.
4. Учреждение, заведение, обслуживающее какие-нибудь общественные нужды.
5. Династия, род (устар).

T: In Russian there is one word for both home and house, but in English the two words are different. A home is the place where you live. This can be a house, a flat, a cottage. A house is a building in which people live.

       a home – дом, очаг, уют

      A house is a building in which people live.

      Дом – это здание, в котором  живут люди.

      A home is a place where you feel comfortable and safe.

      Дом – это место, где ты чувствуешь себя удобно и безопасно.)

T: What do you think we are going to talk about at our lesson today?

(Учащиеся делают свои  предположения  о теме урока).

T: Today we‘ll speak about different kinds of houses. But at first, let’s remember the Russian proverbs about the house.

(Учащиеся называют русские пословицы о доме).

T: Well, and do you know what the British people usually say about their homes?

(Некоторые учащиеся могут дать ответ).

  T: On the screen you see English proverbs about home. Read them after me and find their Russian meanings in the right column.

 T: This lesson we are going to speak about the place people live in. You are going to learn a bit more about a traditional English house, tell about the flat or house where you live, describe your dream house. At the end of the lesson we shall see if there is really no place like home. Что главное вы поняли?

III. Речевая зарядка. Повторение лексики по теме.

1. T: Do we live in a village or in a town? What town do we live in?

   Do you live in a private house?   Do you live in a block of flats?

 T: So people can live in private houses or in blocks of flats. And every house, every flat can have something in common. What is it?

T: How many rooms are there in your flat? What rooms are there in your flat?

2. T: Now, let’s review some words. Take the sheets of paper and distribute all the words according to the names of the rooms.  Your groups have different rooms.

IV.         Развитие мотивации к чтению. Активизация лексических единиц.

1.    T: As you already know one of the English proverbs says: “My home is my castle”. Which words do you associate with a castle? Work in groups and make a spidergram on a sheet of paper. You have 1 minute.

 (Учащиеся в группах на листах А 4 составляют схему).

T: Now show your spidergrams and say what words you associate with the word “castle”.

(Группы демонстрируют свои схемы, озвучивают их. Учитель вывешивает схемы на доску.)

(Учащиеся могут предложить другие слова – famous, popular, tourists, history, a lot of rooms, a picture gallery, knights, prince, princess и т. д.)

2. Чтение текстов о замках в Англии.

T: Do you want to learn more about castles? So, the first group will read the text about Alnwick [´α׃nіk] Castle (Слайд 13. Замки. Названия замков с транскрипцией) in your books (p. 42, ex. 1a, b), and the second group is going to read about Windsor [´winzə] Castle – the text in your Activity books (p. 23, ex. 4). Before reading the texts write numbers 1, 2, 3 in your exercise books, read the statements and after reading write true or false next to the numbers.  And both groups be ready to answer the same question – “Do people live in castles now?” (На слайде выводится вопрос) You have 3-4 minutes for reading.

 Windsor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in the world, is an official residence of the Queen.   The castle has been a royal residence since Henry I reign.

  A Royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today.)

V. Введение новых слов, обозначающих названия жилища. Развитие языковой догадки, умения пользоваться словарём.

1. T: Ordinary people nowadays don’t live in the castles. There are a lot of different houses for people to live in. Look at the photos of different homes in Britain (p. 43, ex. 2b). How can you translate the word cottage?  In Britain cottage means a small, cosy, old-fashioned house, usually in the country. A Russian коттедж is a modern detached house, very often in a city or its suburbs, which is usually quite big and expensive.

2. T: Look at the picture of a windmill.  What is it in Russian? (ветряная мельница) Now many windmills in Britain are used as homes.

T: The word court is used in the names of large houses and blocks of flats. The meaning of this word in Russian – двор, двор (короля); площадка для игр, корт. But we don’t translate this word in the address.

4. T: Some people live in boats and they call these boats houseboats.  What is the Russian for this word? (плавучий дом - лодка или баржа, приспособленные для жилья)

 T: The Houseboat ‘Kingfisher’ is very famous. It is 115 years old. It is a unique and elegant 4-bedroomed houseboat on the river Thames opposite Windsor Castle.

This is the plan of the houseboat.  How many rooms are there in this ‘house’?

VI. Физкультминутка.  Исполнение песни учащимися.

T: As you see people can live in unusual houses. And do you remember the song “Yellow submarine”?

T: You are right. Let’s sing the song and enjoy ourselves. Stand up, come up to the blackboard and perform the song.

VII.       Образ дома в русской литературе.

T: There are a lot of books about home. Can you name some Russian fairy tales about houses?

T: Do you know the title of these books in English?

T: Some fairy tales are about animals. Teremok – The Fly’s Castle – is about a lot of animals who build a small house and live there together.

T: Now you see that home is a special place not only for people but for the animals too. They try to keep it safe and to defend it from their enemy.

VIII.     Образ дома в мультипликации. Аудирование песни.

1. T: There are a lot of animated cartoons, where the main characters are animals and where they have to fight for their home. Let me present you such a cartoon.

T: The original name of this cartoon is “Home On The Range”. The Russian for range – цепь (гор); обширное пастбище. In Russian it is called   “Ферма в прериях / Не бей копытом”. To make it clear for you, I’ll tell you about the cartoon in Russian.

О фильме: Жизнь на ферме проста и привольна. Хозяева и питомцы живут душа в душу, поют песни и веселятся. Но внезапно этой идиллии приходит конец. На смену обанкротившимся владельцам фермы приходит безжалостный делец, желающий продать землю и избавиться от животных. Естественно, это не устраивает привыкших к сладкой жизни четвероногих и пернатых обитателей. Начинается потрясающе смешная "партизанская война". Руководителями бунта выступают конь Бак и три коровы-непоседы, решившие пойти на все, чтобы спасти ферму от разорения.

     2. T: The song “Home on the Range” is a soundtrack of this cartoon. (Учитель сообщает интересную информацию о песне на русском языке: This song was first printed in 1911

and for twenty years attracted practically no attention. It is said to have been sung on the doorstep of Franklin D. Roosevelt's home by a group of newspaper reporters the night he was first elected President.)

I invite you to listen to this song. You can read the words of it on a sheet of paper or see them on the screen. After listening say what is the song about.

Our Home is the place where we live and rest, cook and discuss some events, do our school lessons and sing or dance   and celebrate holidays. We often miss our home if we are traveling in other countries far away from it. They say “There’s no place like home” or “East or west home is best”. The song “Home on the Range” is the nostalgia [nοst'ælіә] (тоска по родине, ностальгия).

IX. Подведение итогов. Релаксация.  

1.  T:  А теперь, ребята, пусть каждый из вас определит, что для него значит “дом” во всех пониманиях этого слова.  On a sheet of paper complete the phrases, please. Put the numbers you choose.
