Тема урока: " Lead the way!".
Цель
урока:
Развитие
языковой компетентности учащихся по теме «Хобби»
Задачи:
практические -
активизировать знания, умения и навыки учащихся по теме «Хобби»; учить
логически строить высказывание на основе прослушанной и переработанной
информации.
развивающие –
развивать кругозор учащихся, творческие навыки;
воспитательные –
создавать возможность для проявления индивидуальных способностей учащихся,
развитие навыков к сотрудничеству;
образовательные – совершенствовать
фонетические и лексические навыки, расширить словарный запас, активизировать
знакомую лексику в речевых ситуациях, создать условия для спонтанной речи.
Оборудование
и раздаточные материалы: мультимедийная установка, карточки с
заданиями.

знакомство с новым материалом.
Ход
урока:
I.
Организационный
момент, введение темы.
Teacher: Good morning. I’m
very glad to see all of you today. I hope everybody is ready to work. How are
you? What date is it today?
Today
at our lesson we have guests and I hope you`ll show them all our knowledge .
To
guess what we are going to talk about have a look at the screen. You can see some pictures, try to guess
what we are going to talk at our lesson. (Слайд 1)
(Учащиеся высказывают свои предположения)
Teacher: So today we`re
going to speak about different activities and hobbies and the theme of our lesson is “Lead the way!”(Покажи пример!) We`ll listen you and know about
different hobbies of your classmates and we`ll listen the text about American
teens.
II.
Речевая разминка.
Teacher: I`d like to begin
our lesson with the question: What is hobby?
What does the word “hobby” mean?
(Учащиеся высказывают свои предположения)
Could you look at the screen. (Слайд 2) Use the words
and try to make up a definition to the word “hobby’. You can write it in your
copy-books.Think a little.
(Hobby
is an activity which somebody enjoys doing in somebody`s free time)
III.
Актуализация лексики по теме.
Let`s remember some words which will
be useful to speak about our theme. I`m sure that some of them are already
known to you, some words are new. Could you open your student books at p.26,
ex.1. Please, listen and repeat these words.

слушают аудиозапись и повторяют слова за диктором)-2 раза

Teacher: Well done! And now you see these
words at the screen. Could you tell me:
Which hobbies are
popular with teens today?
What hobbies are
popular in your family?
What hobbies did
your parents use to have in their childhood?
(Don`t forget to use
the construction “used to”
Which
of these hobbies are not popular with teenagers today?
You
can use the example which you see in your students books to answer my last question.

And
now could you look at ex.2 p. 26. I see you know a lot of different activities
but what quality do you need to have to do these activities. The words from
ex.2 will help you to answer these questions, but at first could you repeat
these words after me. (проговариваем) And now
let`s read these words one by one.
(Учащиеся

Teacher: Well done! Excellent!
And now
I`d like to know about your hobbies.
Now work
in pairs , try to make-up your own dialogues and act out them. The phrases from card 1 will help you too. (Слайд 5)
( C помощью фраз ученики составляют свои диалоги и затем разыгрывают их.)
Teacher: It was very interesting to listen to
you. And now let`s have a rest. Could you look at the screen. You see some
words you have to circle the odd one out. (Слайд 6)
Let`s
turn back to our main theme. You see that a hobby is a kind of self-expression. What is
interesting to one person can be boring to another. Could you look at p.27. You
see the text about ambitious (целеустремлённый) American teenagers and their success.
Please
pay attention to the title (заглавие) of this story. The word “drive” means ambition (стремление, цель)
Look
at the screen and firstly repeat the words and word expressions from the
text. These words will help you to understand this text better. (Слайд 7)
