Тема урока: London zoo

Цели и задачи урока:

Образовательные: обеспечить в ходе урока повторение модальных глаголов can, must; создать условия для отработки навыков и умений в чтении и говорении.

Воспитательные: содействовать формированию толерантности в отношении к животным, развитию интереса к изучению иностранного языка.

Развивающие: создать условия для развития коммуникативных навыков (монологическая и диалогическая речь), развития памяти, внимания, воображения, формирования самостоятельной познавательной деятельности.

Ход урока.

· Орг. момент.

Учитель здоровается с обучающимися:

T: Good morning, dear boys and girls! Glad to see you.  I think it’s a nice day today! Actually what is the day today?

Pl: Today it’s Wednesday.

T: Look at the window and say what is the weather like today?

Обучающиеся отвечают на вопросы учителя.

Учебный разговор T-Cl: T®P1®P2:

T: Today we’ll have an unusual lesson. Answer my question: do you like travelling?

Pl: Yes, I do. I like travelling.

T: I think that everybody likes travelling. Now it’s time to say some words about the place we are going to visit.

Учитель подводит обучающихся к определению темы и целей, задач урока.

T: Look at the screen.

There are two secret words. Read the 1^st sentence and say what it is.

Pl: It’s London.

T: Read the 2^nd sentence. What’s this?

Pl: It’s a zoo.

T: So what are we going to visit?

Pl: London Zoo.

T: That’s right. And what will we do in the lesson. How do you think?

But first we must prepare our tongues for our work.

Обучающиеся прослушивают аудиозапись из упр. 22 на стр.52. затем читают упражнение сами.

·Основная часть

The British say that London Zoo is one of the best zoos in the world. After the excursion be ready to answer this question: Is London Zoo one of the best zoos in the world?

For entering the zoo you should name an animal and get your ticket. (Обучающиеся вспоминают названия животных)

T: You are very clever!

T: There are a lot of birds and animals on our planet. They can be wild and domestic. Look at the screen.

T: You see 12 pictures of animals. Put every picture into the right column and say if it’s wild or domestic animal. This group will find wild animals, and that – domestic animals. (Обучающиеся распределяют животных согласно их квалификации. Затем группами выходят к доске и рассказывают, какие животные являются дикими, а какие домашними)

Well done! What animals can we see in London Zoo? Right, in London Zoo we can see lots of wild animals.

Every zoo has rules for visitors. Everybody has got a card with rules. Look at the pictures and say: “What mustn’t we do in the zoo?”(Упражнение направлено на повторение употребления модального глагола must. Обучающиеся получают карточки с запрещающими знаками. Ученики должны сказать, что запрещено делать в зоопарке)

Now you know the rules  for visitors of  London Zoo  and can read different signs.

Every zoo has a zookeeper. Now we’ll be zookeepers too. We have a lot of letters  from children. Every group should put the words into the right order and make up the questions. And then get ready to answer these questions. (Упражнение направлено на повторение модального глагола саn. Обучающиеся работают в группах. Каждая группа должна составить вопрос из слов, а затем ответить на них.)

·Физ. минутка.

Звучит музыка «В мире животных»

T: Now it’s time to have a rest!

Can you hop like a rabbit?

Can you jump like a frog?

Can you run like a dog?

Can you fly like a bird?

Can you swim like a fish?

Can you be like a good child?

As still as you wish?

Now it’s time to answer the question: “Is London Zoo worth visiting?” (Обучающиеся отвечают на вопрос, заданный в начале урока. Отрабатывают конструкцию «It’s worth visiting because»)

Let’s sing a song!

Обучающиеся поют песню «We’re going to the zoo»

Do you like our lesson?

If “yes”, show please a happy face.

If “no”, show please a sad face.

Now let’s give marks! (Обучающиеся дают оценку уроку и самим себе)
