Цель: активизация навыков устной речи и навыков чтения

Задачи:

Обучающая – активизировать навыки чтения с полным пониманием прочитанного, совершенствовать навыки словообразования, активизировать грамматические навыки по теме «Страдательный залог»

Развивающая – развитие лексических навыков

Воспитательная – расширять кругозор учеников с помощью лингвострановедческого материала

Оборудование: учебник, рабочая тетрадь, словари.

Планируемые результаты:

В результате изучения темы ученик научиться:

Знать/понимать:

- основные значения изученных лексических единиц; основные способы словообразования;

- основные нормы речевого этикета;

- роль владения иностранными языками в современном мире.

Уметь:

говорение:

- начинать, вести/поддерживать и заканчивать беседу в стандартных ситуациях общения;

- расспрашивать собеседника и отвечать на его вопросы, опираясь на изученную тематику;

- делать краткие сообщения по теме.

чтение:

- читать текст с выборочным пониманием нужной или интересующей информации;

письменная речь:

- использовать изученные лексические единицы.

Использовать приобретенные знания и умения в практической деятельности и повседневной жизни:

I. Организационный момент.

Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? Who is absent today?

1) The last book I read was ‘Crime and Punishment’ by the Russian author Fyodor Dostoyevsky. I really love this book because the plot is incredibly gripping and all the characters are absolutely convincing and very believable. It is no exaggeration to say that it's a masterpiece and the best book I've ever read. So I highly recommend it.

2) The last book I read was Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling. It is a fantastic book, and the plot is incredibly thrilling. It's really well worth reading, and I thoroughly recommend it.

Now let’s read the text of ex. 2 on p. 134and decide which statements are true, false or not stated in the text? And now let’s go on working with the text and do ex. 4, p. 134. Read how the statements are said in the text. Ученики слушают и читают текст упр. 2, стр. 134 и затем выполняют задания по тексту упр. 2, 4, стр. 134.

chances: likely hood of sth happening (вероятность, что что-то случится)

effect: influence on sth (влияние на что-то)

series: a number of similar or related things one after the other (группа аналогичных или связанных вещей, которые идут одна за другой)

artificially generated: not naturally produced (сделанный не естественным способом)

revolution: a relatively sudden and absolutely drastic change (относительно внезапное или абсолютно резкое изменение)
