содержание урока
Russia is a multinational country, though all the
nations have a common history. In spite of the fact that the country is divided
into federal republics and autonomous regions and areas, they are all united by
common goals that lead to peaceful coexistence of different parts of such a
diverse country.
I live in a small village in Tverskaya Oblast 20
kilometres away from a historic old town. I love my village in winter when the
clean, crisp snow covers everything and I can skate and ski. In summer I enjoy
walking in the countryside with my dog and picking up mushrooms and berries in
the forest. I think I have more freedom than teens in cities. Many people find
the village life isolated but I don’t agree with them. I have a lot of friends
in my village and at school. Besides, I can communicate with my friends all
over the world online. I think social networking breaks down physical,
geographical and cultural barriers.
I live in Yakutsk. The temperature in winter may fall
below -40 degrees, and we have to wear fur coats, fur caps, fur or thick
woollen mittens, knitted scarves, thick woollen socks and unty, which are fur
boots made of deer skin. I am Yakut. The Republic of Sakha or Yakutia is the
largest region of Russia. Yakutia area is 6 times larger than France and 13
times larger than the UK. Many people know that winters in Yakutia are long and
cold, and summers are short. But only few know that summer is relatively warm
and sometimes even hot. In winter, temperatures can drop at as low as -60 or
lower, and in summer it can rise up to +40. I go to a Russian school, but we
have lessons in our native
Yakut language as well. My father plays the khomus, which is a traditional Yakut
instrument, and my mother does embroidery with beads. The Yakut people are open
and friendly. I am proud to be a Yakut.
Hello. I’m 13 and I live in Kazan. It is
the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan which is situated in the centre of the
Russian Federation. Kazan is a culturally and historically rich city. Kazan is
more than 1,000 years old. Every year tens of thousands of tourists visit the
heart of Kazan – the Kazan Kreml with the Kul Sharif Mosque and Suyumbike
Tower. I love my city because there’s so much to do here. In summer, I like to
go swimming in the Volga River. We can go ice-skating at any time of the year
in our new Ice Palace. There are a lot of schools in Kazan and mine is one of
the new ones. We are so different but we live in the same country. We love our
country.
