Unit 4. “Is it Easy to Be Young?”
What is your attitude towards teenage years? Do they bring
luck to you?
Тип урока: комплексное применение знаний.
Цель: Выработка умений самостоятельно применять знания, осуществлять их
перенос в новые условия.
Учебный аспект – совершенствование речемыслительных навыков на основе чтения аутентичных
текстов с разными стратегиями;
Познавательный
аспект – знакомство с высказываниями зарубежных
сверстников, о проблемах молодёжи;
Развивающий
аспект – развитие способностей к логическому изложению
и формированию выводов;
Воспитательный
аспект – формирование критического отношения к
действительности, умения анализировать и давать оценку поступкам и событиям.
Речевой материал – лексика предыдущих уроков.
1. Вступление
Today we have
conclusive discussion. What is your attitude towards teenage years? Do they
bring luck to you?
Teenagers’
problems constantly attract much attention. It is actually to speak about it.
There was the scary, scandal article “Pupils today are monsters and mutants” in
one of the “Komsomolskaya Pravda” issues. It’s a kind of shock. The author – 22
years-old young man from Samara accuses new generation in rude behavior,
banality, triviality and perversity. He gives the evident arguments. The
observer, a well-known journalist Inna Rudenko invites readers to take part in
discussion “Is it easy to be young?”. The facts in article are horrible. It’s a
pity, we can agree or not, but I am lucky, that our situation is not so scary,
especially in our school. We’ll come back to this article later.
2. Let’s determine our ABC’s of
Happiness with Robert Vallet. Enthusiasm and happiness will help us in our work
and life, I hope.
