And while walking the streets I often asked the citizens of your city for the help and I always got stuck into funny situations. I feel that they can’t understand me at all! Постановка темы урока У: And now tell me please, every time we look at the sky, what do we see there? Right, the clouds. In my humble opinion, it’s one of the symbols of St. Petersburg. And today I’m going to tell you about one interesting technology, which you can use not only in the lessons of English, but on the other lessons too. Now please look at the screen. ОБЛАКО СЛОВ У: You can see this technology on the screen. Do you know how it’s called? It is called the cloud of words. How do you think, what these words are related to? Right, they’re related to St. Petersburg. Can you name some of them? Tell me please, can we name this cloud? Right, the cloud of St. Petersburg! Open your laptops and enter the system… Each pair made it’s own cloud of words, so you know how it works. And now, because I don’t want to harm your eyes, close the laptops and take the sheet of paper from it which I prepared specially for you. Look at it. Работа с брошюрой У: As you know, there’s a lot of tourists in St. Petersburg, and they, usually, have touristic guides with them. I’ve made another gift for you, on your desks you can see the guide. It’s not for the tourists, but for the citizens. Let’s take a look at it. On the first page there is the text which we’ll read very soon. Your task is to circle the names of the city sights which you will hear.    Now, please, put the names which you have circled into the right boxes under the pictures. Now I want you to make one sentence about St. Petersburg using as many new words from the vocabulary and the words from the cloud as you can in 60 seconds. Great!
