we are going to have an unusual lesson. We will have a trip to a foreign
country. What does thetripmean? Translate.

travel to the USA.

We are
going to visit the USA. For what?what will you know aboutthe country while
travelling? Why should we study this information?
Our
lesson will have a lot of geographical names. Let’s know how we should pronounce
them. Open your books on p.65 ex.5.Why should we know it?
We
have already said that we will travel by plane. What do we need for travelling
by plane? whatcan’we t come to the planewithout?
I
prepare for you the tickets, you can take them.
At the
beginning of our trip let’s listen to our pilot. What city will we visit first?
What is the weather like there? What is the temperature?
Look
at tickets. what airport are we arrivingin?
Let’s
start with it. You have some information about America’s sightson the tickets.
Who has information about Kennedy Airport? Let’s read it.
We
have visited some places of interest in the USA. Who has photos of America’s
sights? You can hang them here and we will get a collage with American
attractions. I hope we will continue to do it next lesson. And you can see the
flag of this country. It is called Stars and stripes. Who knows how many states
are there in America? (50).
Now
you will make up the text about this country. You will work in pairs. You
should make up one sentence from words. And then we will write down all text
into your exercise book. Write down the date. Read all sentences.
At
home you should make up crossword. You have the crossword and answers. You
should write the questions or descriptions for words from the crossword. You
will write the tasks. You have 6 words in horizontally and 1 word in
vertically. Open your record books and write down your homework.
