Цели урока:

• Коммуникативная – развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся в рамках разговорной темы «Животные»;

• Обучающая – активизация изученного лексико-грамматического материала;

• Воспитательная – развитие умения коллективной работы, воспитание экологической сознательности учащихся;

• Развивающая – расширение кругозора учащихся.

Задачи урока:

• тренироваться в употреблении лексики по теме «Животные»;

• закреплять материал по теме Настоящее простое время;

• развивать умения аудирования и чтения с пониманием основной мысли и детальным пониманием;

• развивать навыки монологической речи по опорам.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, аудиозаписи.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент. Целеполагание.

Teacher (T): Hello, students! It is nice to see you. Today we are going to summarize our knowledge on the topic “Animal Planet”. (слайд1) We’ve got several tasks today: (слайды 2-3)

• revise Present Simple;

• talk about animals;

• listen and read for general and detailed information;

• Play!

Let’s hope we’ll manage to do everything. As far as our lesson is a game-lesson, let’s make teams. We’ll have 2 teams – “Lions” and “Elephants” and a jury tocout the points. Please? Be active!

Учитель приветствует учащихся и объясняет цели урока-игры. Учащиеся делятся на команды.

2. Речевая разминка. Лексические упражнения. Активизация лексики по теме «Животные».

1) T: I’ll spell the words and you, please, guess them. Have a look at the board to check. (слайд 4).

Слова: dangerous, elephants, giraffe, wing, crocodile, lion, spots.

Учитель произносил слово по буквам, а учащиеся называют его.

2) T: Now try to remember the words and use them in the following sentences.

1. Indian elephants have small ears.

2. A leopard can run fast and has spots.

3. The lion is the king of animals.

4. My parrot can’t fly. He’s got a broken wing.

5. The giraffe has a very long neck.

6. A crocodile can stay under water for two hours.

7. Some snakes are dangerous. They can bite humans.

Учащиеся используют слова, чтобы дополнить предложения (слайд 5).

3) T: The next task is more difficult. You have to circle the odd word out and explain why you’ve done it (слайд 6).

Учащиеся сопоставляют и анализируют ряд слов и выбирают лишнее, объясняя свой выбор.

1) T: Let’ revise the grammar before we do some more difficult tasks.

3) T: Now your teams are going to complete the texts and learn more about each other. What have you learnt about each other? (слайды 9-10)

Учащиеся работают в группах (командах), употребляя нужные формы глаголов. Учитель просит рассказать, что нового ребята узнали о «соперниках».

4. Чтение с полным пониманием текста. Тренировка умения задавать отвечать на вопросы. (слайды 11-12)

1) T: Friends, let’s do another interesting task. Each team will read different texts and have to guess what animal it is about. You can ask only 3 questions to find out.

Учащиеся двух команд читают 2 разных текста о разных животных и задают по 3 вопроса соперникам, чтобы узнать о каком животном идет речь.

Тексты:

1. A penguin is a bird. Penguins can’t fly. They live in the Antarctic. Feathers help penguins stay warm in cold weather. Their size helps too. They are fat! The penguin is black and white. Penguins don’t sleep during the day. They sleep at night. They swim fast and catch food in the sea. They eat small fish and stay under water for five minutes.

2. A tiger is a wild cat. It lives in Asia and is one of the national animals of India. The tiger is orange with black stripes and its fur keeps it warm during cold weather. It hides in tall grass and hunts big animals like deer for food. Tigers like to swim in water. They are beautiful animals.

2) T: Now you have to make questions and answer them according to the text.

Правильно заданные вопросы:

4. What do they eat?

Правильно задав вопрос, учащиеся отвечают на него, используя текст.

5. Аудирование с общим пониманием содержания. (слайды 14-15)

T: Our last task is presentation of an animal. Now you have to speak about one animal. Be very attentive and speak accurately. (презентации учащихся, слайд 15)

Учащиеся рассказывают о животном, использую презентацию Power Point в качестве опоры. Презентации были выполнены в процессе работы над темой «Животные» как проекты. Главное условие презентаций – отсутствие полных текстов, целых предложений. В качестве опор для монолога используется расширенный план (отдельные слова и словосочетания).

7. Заключительный этап урок. Подведение итогов, рефлексия. (слайд 16-17)

T: We’ve done a lot today. Our tasks were:

• talk about animals;

• listen and read for general and detailed information;

• Play!

You did really well, thank you for your work. What was difficult for you, what did you enjoy? Who was the most active and useful speaker?
