THE FOX AND THE FISH
A fox sees a fish in the river. The fox says, "Hello, Fish!
Can you run?"
"Yes, of course, I can run very well," says the fish.
"No, you can't run," says the fox.
"Let's run a race: you, near the river and I, in the river.
Do you see that big tree?
Let's run to the tree."
But the fish is very lazy. He doesn't want to run a race. So he
tells his friend,a fish, about the race, and that fish tells his friends and
all the fish in the river know
about the race.
The fox runs near the river and says:
- Fish, where are you?
And one of the fish in the river says:
- Here I am!
The fox runs very quickly and says:
- Fish, where are you?
And one of the fish in the river says:
- Here I am!
Now the fox runs very, very quickly:
- Fish, where are you?
And one of the fish says:
- Here I am!
The fox runs to the big tree and says:
- Fish, where are you?
And one of the fish says:
- Here I am! Now you can see, Fox, that I can
run very well. Bye, Fox!
And the fish swims away.
