Ход урока.
I.
Сообщение учителем темы урока.

Фонетическая зарядка (об-ся слушают запись и

“Excursion about London”
(рассказ учителя о королевских местах в Лондоне) – презентация.
This
is the flag of Great Britain. The British people call it “the Union
Jack” it is red, white and blue. The flag is made up of three crosses: the
cross of St. George, the cross of St. Andrew and the cross of St. Patrick.
The today’s coat of arms was made by Richard
the Lion Heart at the end of the 10 century. On the red field one can see three
gold leopards (lions) and royal gold lilies. The lion means might and strength
of the country.
Westminster Palace was the capital residence till 1529. Now the meetings of the British
Parliament are held here. The palace has 1200 rooms, 100 stairs and 5 km of
halls.
Kensington Palace is well known all over the world as London residence of Prince
Charles and Princess Diana. After their divorce Diana lived there till her
death? Then this palace became Diana’s museum. On the ground floor you can see
the collection of the royal clothes since 1750 till nowadays. On the next
floor there are a lot of royal rooms, royal picture gallery and other
different things.
Windsor Castle is one of the
largest and the most ancient castles in the world. It is the official residence
of the queen. The castle is more than 900 years old. It has a lot of wonderful
paintings of the royal collection. You can see here the paintings of Rembrandt,
Rubens, Ganesboro, Van Dake. The groves of Henry VIII, Karl I and other 8
monarchs are situated here.
The Tower of London was a
fortress, a palace, a prison and the King’s Zoo. Now it is the museum. You can
see a lot of interesting things in the halls of the White Tower. Its square
walls are white and very tall.
Saint James Park and
Green Park are the green stripe around Buckingham Palace. It is a large
park with huge trees and … Around this park relief of royal guards takes place.
Green Park is similar to Saint James Park only without any pond.
