Start up activity:
(D) Teacher uses visual of a house on board and elicits vocabulary items as they are added to picture.
Teacher nominates a pair of learners to come to board and give them above objects to place in house. Learners say what There is in house as they add images
Use demonstration to model In this house There is there are
Learners listen to Teacher describing what is in a house and tick on a visual worksheet the things that are in the house and put a cross next to things that are not described
Each learners is given worksheet with ywo empty house outlines on it. In house A, learners are asked to draw eight things to describe in English to another learner e.g. a big window… two yellow bags…
(F) learners take turns to describe what there is in their house A for the other learner to draw their house B.
Learners compare pictures when both have described their house
Learners achieve this Learning Objectives
