lesson!
The
theme of the lesson is “A headache, a toothache, a sore throat…”
the 1st lesson which is the part of the 11th unit named “At the
doctor”.
The
plan of the lesson is to learn new vocabulary and structures about illness.
Below
there are “Golden rules” of the lesson and the measure of marking.

Objective: to revise the parts of the body that the pupils have

pictures. Look at them and say: It’s a head….. Ready? Go!

Activity 3 Play “Simon Says”.
Objectives: to revise the vocabulary related to parts of the body;
to have fun.

T: Good! Then Let’s begin! (runs the game)
Simon says: Touch your head!
Simon says: Touch your nose!
Simon says: Touch your eyes!

Activity 4 Work in pairs. Play “Robot”.
Objectives: to practice giving instructions; to revise the
vocabulary related to parts of the body; to have fun.
T: Kids, now you’ll work in
pairs. One of you says instructions; the next will do them as a robot. Then
you change roles.
The pupils can give the following instructions: Stand up.
Wash your face. Comb your hair. Wash your hands. Brush your teeth. Sit down.
Touch your head. Touch your nose. Touch your eyes. Touch your hand. Touch your
leg. etc.
IV-DEVELOPING
THE NEW THEME:
Activity 5a Look and match.
Objectives: to introduce the new vocabulary; to give practice in
guessing the meaning with the help of known words.
STEP 1:
T: Open your books to Page 54.' Find an Activity 5a. Look at the
pictures and words. Match them.
STEP 2:
T: Open
your Workbooks to Page 58.’ Look at the following activity. I expect you to write your
answers. Write your
answers here.
STEP 3:
T: Let’s check the answers!
Activity 5b Look, listen and repeat.
Objective: to practice the pronunciation of the new vocabulary
STEP 1: Here is the diagram on the board:

T: These new words are made by saying: ‘a sore eye, a sore

T: Now, you guys works in pairs to act out and identify each
vocabulary item.
(After finishing the activity)

The
team’s points will be calculated and rewarded.
The marks of the kids will be read.

Homework:
Open your Workbooks to Page 58 and look at
Homework 1. (explains the task) Did you understand the task? Look at the words
in the clouds and match the English words with the ones in your mother tongue.
Then look at Homework 2. You must complete the
diagrams about illnesses.
