Objectives:To enlarge pupils’ vocabulary to pay attention to their pronunciation.
To develop pupils’ skills of reading,writing,listening and speaking speech.
Procedure of the lesson:
Introduction: Date and Attendance,Introduction of the lesson’s theme.

Warm –up: How many words can you make with these letters? “CELEBRATION” brain,rat,ten,cat,bat,beat,boat,car,not,race,ran
1.Using vocabulary flashcards and separate pictures,teacher will introduce vocabulary.Students will repeat in chorus.
2.Teacher will ask individual students”What is it? while holding up a picture.Student will answer,”it
3.Students will match the words with the pictures
Teacher will explain key grammar:
First conditional with if and unless.Giving examples.
If you swim on Good Friday,you ‘ll turn into a fish.
We use if+present simple,and will/won’t+verb to describe the result of a possible future action.
Unless you wear something red on your wedding day,you won’t be happy.
Unless you wear=If you don’t wear
Students to look at the pictures and say what they can see.
Students read the text quickly and pick out the words for special occasions.
Answers: Good Friday,New Year’s Eve,birthday,wedding
Students will listen and check their answers.
Teacher will ask questions :
Are these sentences about the present,past or future? (The future)Do we have any of these superstitions in our country?

Students complete the sentences.
Students will write two or three superstitions.Then read out the first part of each sentence.
