Early Years
French electronic music duo, founded in 1993 by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo
Early in their career the band members were strongly influenced bands like The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones. Originally Bangalter and de Homem - Christo gathered a group called Darlin ', which disbanded after a short time has been revived as a duet Daft Punk, releasing a sensational album Homework in 1997.

«Homework»(1997)
Songs «Da Funk» and «Alive» were included in group’s debut album Homework . It was a great success. The album was marked by an innovative fusion of styles of techno , house , acid house and electro , and earned the reputation as one of the albums ,influenced by dance music of the nineties. «Da Funk» entered the soundtrack to "The Holy ". The most successful single from Homework was the song «Around the World».
In my opinion It’s the best album after The Throne Legacy

«Discovery»(2001)
Album’s style gravitated toward sintipop. It was conceived as an attempt to convey a playful and open attitude to the world, which was during each phase of discovery in childhood. This led to the predominance of an album themes and samples from the era of the late '70s , early '80s . «One More Time» became a major club hit. In 2001, was released a 45-minute concert video , recorded in 1997 in Birmingham, UK , called Alive 1997.
In 2003 saw the release of a full-length anime film " Interstella 5555 : 5history 5secret 5sun’s 5istem." Daft Punk acted as the film's producers . To promote the film was also released album remixes «Daft Club».
To my mind their live concerts are best of the best in the world.

«Interstella»(2001) & «Electroma» (2006)

May 21, 2006 , the premiere of directorial debut, Daft Punk - the film Daft Punk's Electroma at the Cannes Film Festival as part of Directors Fortnight . In the film, there is no their own music , the first time that the duo considering their previous DVD and movies .The first responses were positive spectators .
Electroma is feature film duo Daft Punk about two robots trying to become human.
I was really impressed watching «Electroma». Message of the film is very deep.

«Human After All»(2005)
The duet released the album Human After All in March 2005 . Reviews were mixed , mostly reproached them for too repetitive motives, as well as the rush to record an album . Singles from the album became the tracks «Robot Rock», «Technologic», «Human After All», «The Prime Time of Your Life» and «The Brainwasher».
Daft Punk also released a remix album Human After All: Remixes.
As for me the most interesting composition from this album is «The Brainwasher».

(2008-2011)
Group returned to their Paris studio to work on new material. In 2008, DP took the 38th spot on the official public voting from DJ Magazine, first appeared in the previous year by 71 line. February 8, 2009 Daft Punk got 2 awards "Grammy" for the live album Alive 2007, and a single from him, «Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger».

«Tron :Legacy»(2010)
In 2010, the duet wrote the music for the film Tron: Legacy , and released an album with the soundtrack to it.

«Random Aqccess Memories» (2011-present time)
In October 2011, Daft Punk took 28th place in the "Top 100 DJs of 2011 ". January 19, 2012 Daft Punk took second place in the list of Mixmag « best dance groups of all time ."
Album was extremely positively received by critics . «Get Lucky» became the first British single Daft Punk, hold on first place for 4 weeks. In May 2013 Daft Punk released their fourth studio album Random Access Memories. A month earlier , in April ,overlooks one of the songs in this album - Get Lucky, which became a worldwide hitJanuary 26, 2014 the group won in several categories the 56th Grammy Awards. Nominated album Get Lucky and Random Access Memories.
Daft Punk are known for their live performances. Important role in their work plays a visual component, interwoven with music, for example, wearing costumes of robots in public and during live performances.

When I heard a new song of Daft Punk-«Get lucky» I loved it immediately . Moreover, they won a «Grammy» 2014 at the category «Record of the year»!
A new album «Random Access Memories» also won a Grammy as «Album of the year».

Учебный творческий проект ученицы 12а класса Агзямовой Лилии по творческой биографии группы «Daft Punk», руководитель учитель английского языка Берлет Ирина Владимировна. Данный проект в форме презентации посвящен творческой карьере группы «Daft Punk». Автор представляет информацию об участниках группы и свое отношение к этому творческому коллективу. Презентация может быть использована при прохождении темы о молодёжи и их увлечениях. Направлена на приобщение к культуре страны изучаемого языка, способствует усвоению и закреплению лексических знаний. Презентация выполнена в Microsoft Office 2013 красиво оформлена, содержит аудиофайл. Данный проект получил 3 место в международном конкурсе презентаций «Brit Awards 2014».
