Урок направлен на контроль навыков выразительного чтения , на совершенствование монологической речи по теме «Американские президенты».

Тема урока: «Президенты США».

Цели урока:

1.Совершенствование навыков выразительного чтения.

2. Развитие навыков монологической речи по теме «Президенты США».

3.Тренировка учащихся в переводе предложений.

4.Активизация лексики по теме «Президенты США ».

Оборудование: портреты президентов США, презентация

Hello, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Let’s begin our lesson.

Who is the President of the USA now?

Who was the previous president of the USA?

Who was the first American president?

What is the official residence of the American presidents?

3.Сообщение цели урока:

Today first you will have a reading contest. And then you will prepare and speak about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Then we are going to talk about the other most famous American presidents.

4. Тест «How to become the USA president»

You have to remember the text from Lesson 17 and use your background knowledge as well.

Imagine that someone asked you to tell him about one of these presidents. Tell him all you can. (Ученики рассказывают об одном из президентов).

John Kennedy was the 35th American president. He was born in May, 29, 1917. He was a politician and writer. He even got a prestigious prize for newspaper writing. It's interesting to know that Kennedy was the youngest person ever elected president. One of the most important events in his term was Cuban Crisis. John Kennedy was killed in November 22, 1963.
