Theme actuality: Now the actuality of a problem of Internet dependence is becoming more and more obvious in connection with growth of quantity of Internet users in Russia and in the world. More and more users аге daily connected to "World wide web". In connection with an increasing computerization the problem of pathological use of computer and the Internet has become actual nowadays.

Hypothesis: Nowadays a lot of people use computers and the Internet. Most of them are exposed to dependence on computer. It is becoming a global problem for our society. Having learnt some cases of dependence we came to the conclusion that it is a special psychological disease.

The purpose:

v to study problems of psychological dependence on computer games and the Internet and possibility of its rehabilitation.

Methods:

v searching of the information;

v theoretical analysis ;

v logical methods of generalization the information;

v social interview and conclusions.

Tasks:

v to study features of formation of Internet dependence;

v to study influence of computer games on mental and physical health of the person;

v to reveal possibilities for treatment.

Conclusion: Having studied a problem, we have come to a conclusion that it is impossible to do without the computer in modern life. But frequent use of the computer fatally influences mental and physical health of the person. It is necessary to find a balance at computer use.

Now the actuality of the problem of computer dependence is becoming more and more obvious in connection with growth of number of computer users in Russia and in the world.

How do computers affect our lives? Why do we need them? They control so much of our lives that we became dependent people. We depend on computer more and more, each day. The whole world depends on them.

Computers today have become an inseparable part of our lives, making the difference not just at the work place, but also in our personal lives. This quote summarizes a fear held by many socialists and psychologists of today. They fear the human mind will slowly lose its original ability to be creative due to tasks that have been taken over by computers.

Today computers are used almost everywhere, it is impossible to imagine our life without Personal Computers, Internet, hand phones and other computer devices. It is reasonable that people look to the future of computers. In what field will be computers used for and what role will human have in this world in future?

Besides, computers make our life easier, we can easily get information about any product we plan by or place we plan to visit over a second using personal computer and Internet, Scientists predict that in the nearest future it will be possible to smell a new perfume using Internet and watch 3D scenes at home like we do in the theater. According to forecasts of HR agencies machines will replace job of cashiers, civil and military pilots. Some corporations in Japan have already been selling housewife-robots, which help old people to keep their houses clean.

Many people today are enjoying a day-to-day reliance on the Internet, e-shopping, e-trading, e-therapy, and just about «e-everything» else is sweeping the nation. However, one of many concerns is that humans will no longer need to relate with one another for information and services the Internet can now provide. Newspapers could be down away with. Print writers could lose their jobs and be forced into online writing. The plethora of information available online is so vast and endless, that many people consider to be incomprehensible. Some even consider the Internet to be a threat to ethical, moral and even religious values.

For children, computers take away valuable time. They use messengers, play games making their life dependent on computers, making it harder for them to interact with other children. Lots of children come home from school and go directly to the computer. It’s easy to create your own world with a computer, but it’s not the real one. I think that time spent by children at the computer must be limited.

Despite the fact that computers help us, they make us dependent. Apparently, people spend more time behind monitors that ever before. But some of them feel a need for more time to be spent with people in live contact.

Can people really become addicted to computers? Addiction is "something" that makes us obsessed by an activity or substance. It makes us want it and think of it most of the time. Being addicted means that our body or mind is depending on it. Computer addiction is more like an overuse of computers, being unable to stop at a given time.

I think that the first sign is when you give more importance to your "addiction" than to anything else. When someone is telling you that you have a problem and you deny it. I think realization comes when a bad thing happens and it's caused by behaviors related to overuse - like lack of interest at your job, missing exams at school, etc. Sometimes, there are those who don't care even if something bad happens and continue with the overuse.

After a long period of overuse - especially teenagers who do not have many friends - find it difficult to stop at a given moment. It's important for parents to notice the overuse and help them limit their time spent on the computer. It's very important to offer support and understanding.
It's hard to achieve balance alone having someone close to you is what you need first. Someone to make you realize that there are other things you can do with your spare time.

But each of us can easily manage without the Internet. It is a habit for us, instead of vital necessity. Without air, without water, without food we can't live, and here without the Internet easily.

To my mind the most simple and accessible way of the decision of dependence is an acquisition of other dependence. Love to a healthy way of life, dialogue with wildlife, creative applied hobbies, such as drawing, as a rule, deduce the person from dependence.

We live in technological era, computers penetrated everywhere with all benefits they provide and all dangers they hide. However we are satisfied with them and sometimes we even thank them because they help us in communicating, studying, doing business, entertaining and saving lives in critical situations.

There is no doubt technology has and continues to have a profound effect on our society and race as a whole. The accelerating speed of the "information superhighway" should not replace human communication, thinking, or creativity. Our increasing dependence on computer technology must be well-balanced with face-to-face, human interaction and written correspondence. The human race deserves to retain its individuality separate from the technology we ourselves have created. We hold dominion over it. It does not claim dominion over us.

Dear listeners, if among your friends or relatives there are dependent people you are obliged by it to help. For this purpose you need to try to distract all of them in the possible ways: to stimulate the help of the child in any house business by compensation; with the spouse to bring something new in your life, for example to make something unusual for a dinner, to watch films, go to have a rest, in a word clear the interest to a reality in the person. Conversations on a theme of the future, career, about senselessness online games are much effective. At the person in due course will develop negative opinion about on-line entertainments that will make this process unpleasant, thanking these conversations. If you don’t manage by your own strength, contact to experts. They will spend a necessary psychotherapy course. In a case if also psychiatrists are powerless it is necessary to address in the center of treatment of dependences, the part from them was already developed by receptions of struggle against such diseases.

If you know that your relatives have started playing, you need start to operate. In any ways try to distract them. If all actions are ineffectual, it is necessary to address to experts. The player will receive medical treatment also all becomes excellent.

Don't transform dialogue into correspondence, take better from social networks only useful and be able to press in time the button to "exit".
