     I. Org.moment. Greetings.

     

    - Hello, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Take your seats, let’s begin our lesson. Today we are going to speak about your school and daily life. First of all, answer my questions, please.

    1. What date is it today?

    2. What day of the week is it today?

    3. What day of the week was yesterday?

    4. What day of the week will be tomorrow?

    5. What day of the week is your day off?

     

    II. Speech practice

    - So Sunday is your day off! You go to school every day except Sunday, don’t you? Let’s speak about your working days. Look at the pictures and tell when you usually do these things. Don’t forget to point the time. (Presentation I)

     

    III. Phonetics

    - How many days are there in the week? What are they? You know that all people are different. I think it depends on the day of the week they were born. Let’s read the poem about it. (Presentation II)

    - Last lesson we read the text about the little boy Santi by name. Let’s remember some information about Santi’s life.

     

    1. Answer my questions, please.

    - How old is Santi?

    - Where does he live?

    -When does his school start?

    - Why does Santi go to school at half past six?

    - How many pupils in Santi’s class?

    -What do pupils usually do before classes?

    - What uniform does Santi wear at school?

    - Why do the girls put on T-shirts and shorts in the classroom?

    -What does Santi do after classes?

     

    2. Find in the text and read aloud the sentences to prove that:

    - Santi loves his school:

    - It’s very hot in the classroom:

    - Children don’t go to school on Saturdays and Sunday.

     

    3. All the sentences are wrong here. Your task is to correct them.

    1. Santi is a little girl.

    2. He lives in America.

    3. School starts at 9 o’clock.

    4. The pupils don’t wear school any uniform at school.

    5. The pupils have lessons 6 days a week.

    6. They have 4 lessons every day.

    7. Santi usually read a book before he does his homework.

Конспект урока по английскому языку для учащихся 4 классов по теме «School and daily life» и использованием Иформационно-коммуникационных технологий, разработанный к учебнику «English 4» И.Н. Верещагиной, О.В.Афанасьевой для школ с углубленным изучением английского языка.

Цели урока: развитие навыков аудирования, чтения, устной монологической речи. Упражнения урока, представлены в увлекательной форме, что повышает мотивацию учащихся к изучению английского языка. Надеюсь, что данный материал будет полезен учителям английского языка, работающим в начальной школе.
