“Books in our life”.

Цель:К концу урока учащиеся смогут рассказать о книгах, которые они читают и почему.
Задачи:
1. Образовательные:
- активизация лексических единиц
-совершенствование умений и навыков аудирования, чтения
- формирование навыков диалогической и монологической речи
2. Развивающие:
- развитие памяти и внимания
- развитие навыков и умений ориентации в информационном пространстве
- развитие логического мышления
3. Воспитательные:
- формирование познавательного интереса учащихся
- формирование навыков работы в группе, парах
Тип урока:урок закрепления новых знаний
Форма работы: индивидуальная, парная, групповая
Оборудование: доска, проектор, учебник, рабочая тетрадь
Ход урока
1. Организационныймомент.
-Goodmorning! How are you today? I want you to watch a video. Try to tell me what we’re going to speak about.

-Let’s divide into 3 groups. Try to remember all the book types. (handouts –приложение)

-What is it?

6)Does the first speaker know more than his teachers? What about you?
7)Why does the third speaker like sci-fiction? Do you like it? Why / why not?

Speaker 1: - I like reading encyclopedias, though it surprises my friends. So what? I surprise them with curious facts I read about and sometimes I know more than my teachers do. I often win competitions at school and I have a lot of prizes at home.
Speaker 2: - My favourite stories are horror stories. I read them because I like being scared. I particularly like descriptions of ghosts and monsters. The stories have lots of action in them, and some of the things that happen are really very strange.
Speaker 3: - I hate reading if it’s not a science fiction book. To me sci – fi not only predicts but influences the future – it makes us think! I like science fiction because it allows the author more freedom for the story. The writer can even create whole new worlds. Another advantage of science fiction is that different genres are often combined - adventure, romance, imaginary worlds. Sci-fi is something we wish would happen.
