Цель:
систематизация и обобщение знаний, умений и навыков обучающихся по темам
«Кино», «Театр»
Задачи:
- совершенствование лексических навыков и
закрепление изученного материала по теме;
- развитие навыков употребления лексики по
темам «Кино», «Театр»;
- развитие лингвистических способностей
(фонематический слух, языковая догадка);
- развитие мотивации к дальнейшему овладению
иноязычной культурой;
- способствовать созданию условий для
эффективной коммуникации, сотрудничества и работы в команде.
Ход
урока
1. Организационный момент.
Приветствие
- Good morning, girls
and boys!
- Good morning, our teacher!
- Sit down, please. I am very glad to see you. Let’s speak
about the weather. What is the weather like today? Is it sunny?
- No, it is not. It is cloudy.
- Is it snowing now?
- Yes, it is snowing now.
- Good for you! Thank you!

3. Основная часть урока. Активизация умений и навыков аудирования
Recently we’ve learned about the Hollywood, theatre,
musicals and some films. I prepared 8 questions. Try to answer.
- Where is the Hollywood located?(Los Angeles)
- What was the first colour film? (Gone with
the Wind)
- What are the biggest film companies in
Hollywood?
- The musical “Cats” is about dogs, isn’t
it?(No, it is about cats)
- Does Leo Di Caprio play the role of Juliet?
- Who plays the role of Juliet?(Claire Danes)
- Who is director of the Titanic?(James
Cameron)
- What was the costume budget?(about 8,400
million dollars)

Now, lets make educational structure AR-Guide. Take this
sheets of papers with statements about action films, put – or + at the first
column. I give you some time to do it. – Your time is over! Lets listen to the
tape and check your suppositions. (Listening…The students work with their
statements). – Tell me, please, were your suppositions right? (The students
discuss in term). Very Good! Thank you!

6. Закрепление изученного материала
- Let’s revise our material, using another educational
structure -Jot Thoughts. Divide the sheets of paper into 4 parts and write the
words on each little sheet of paper speaking your written word so that other
students don’t write the same word. Write words on the theme “Cinema”,
“Theatre”. Let’s begin!
– Very good! You know so many words! Let’s use your words
in Tic-Tac-Toe. Make up sentences using only 9 words.(The students make up
sentences, then the teacher ask them to read it).

- The Prime Minister is the Head of State in
Great Britain, isn’t it?
- How many Chambers(Houses) in British
Parliament? Name it.(House of Lords, House of Commons)
- Are the members of House of Lords are
elected?(No, they inherited their seats)
- Name two Chambers of USA Congress.(The
Senate, The House of Representative)
- Who signs the bills in USA?(President)
