Soon we’ll watch the games which we deserved together.

Russian people are proud of this fact. And our country is the motherland of Olympics.

2) The history of Olimpics ( 4л)

- Children, do you know in what year and where were the first Olympic games.

- Let’s look how it was.

- The Olympic games have a very long history. They began in 776 BC, and took place every 4 years for nearly 1200 years, at Olympia, in Greece.

- They included many different kinds of sport.

Only men were allowed to watch them.

Then the games stopped. But in 1894 they were returned.

3) Olympics in Moscow

-Can you tell me in what year and where the first games took place in our country.

Yes. They were in Moscow in 1980.

-Do you know in what stadium were those Olympic games held?

Разработка внеклассного мероприятия, проведенная в рамках недели иностранного языка в школе в преддверии зимней олимпиады в Сочи, позволила не только разнообразить формы и методы работы с детьми по теме «Спорт», но и обеспечила развитие социокультурной и языковой компетенции через погружение обучающихся в историю Олимпийских игр.

В ходе мероприятия были использованы видеоматериалы, позволяющие наглядно продемонстрировать ход развития и социальную значимость Олимпийских игр, тем самым развивая в детях интерес к изучению английского языка и прививая любовь к спорту.
