  Цель: формирование знаний по теме и обучение речевым навыкам.

  Задачи учебные: 1. Практиковать использование лексики по теме.

                                  2. Развивать навыки аудирования и говорения.

                                  3. Развивать навыки чтения с целью понимания основного

                                      содержания и извлечения специальной информации.   

  Развивающие: 1. Расширять кругозор учащихся.

                              2. Развивать внимание, память, самостоятельность.

                              3. Развивать языковую догадку.

  Воспитательные: 1. Повысить мотивацию к обучению через использование

                                       информационных компьютерных технологий.

  2. Введение (warming-up).

      Picture 1. 1) T: Listen to the proverb and translate it.

                       “There are many paths to the mountains, but the view is always the

                         same.” (Chinese proverb)

   

                        2) T: Answer the questions:

                            - What is sometimes compared with the top of the mountain?         

                               (success)        

                            - Is it difficult or easy to get to the top?

      Picture 2.     - What is the theme of our lesson? – (“The secret of success.”)

      Picture 3.     - What do you need to be successful?

      Pictures 4.   - What do you think is most success in life?

   

                        3) T: Translate into Russian using the words from the presentation:

  - Если ты будешь много работать, то добьешься успеха. (If you work hard, you will be successful.)

  - Мне необходимо немного везения. (I need f bit of luck.)

  - Хорошее образование поможет тебе получить интересную работу. (Good education will help you to get an interesting job.)

  - Если ты хочешь добиться успеха, ты должен верить в себя. (You have to believe in yourself if you want to be successful.)

  3. Аудирование (listening).

  1) T: Sometimes the path to success is very difficult and long. Let’s see exercise 4, p.163 in your textbooks. I think you know these famous people (celebrities). But they started their careers very ordinary. Try to guess.

   

  2) Listen to the speaker and check your answers.

          working as a mail sorter.

      6. Before she became one of today’s most beautiful woman actresses, Sharon

          Stone used to serve customers in McDonalds.

  2) T: Read by yourselves and listen to the text of exercise 1, p.165 in the textbooks.
