Theme of the lesson:                      What do you eat for breakfast?

Aims of the lesson:

1.      Educational aim: to enrich pupils’ vocabulary stock with words connected the theme; to teach using grammar structure in speech

2.      Developing aim: to develop pupils mental habits, listening, speaking, reading and writing

3.      Up-bringing aim: to bring-up pupils interest in English language, in culture, eating healthy food

Visual aids: foods, pictures, cards, blackboard

Type of the lesson: Presentation of the new material

Connection with other subjects: mathematics, Home Economics

  Our theme in our lesson is “What do you eat for breakfast?”

-The class is divided into 2 groups:

Group  A “Breakfast”                                                   Group B “Dinner”

-You should prepare breakfast and dinner using the food on the table for this game.

And every time use the phrases:

I eat --------------for breakfast or I have -------------for breakfast.

 

2)      Reading

How much is it? Math game

A kilo equals 2, 2 pounds.

60 kilos equals----------pounds.

10 kilos equals---------pounds.
