"Enjoy English" для 5-6 классов общеобразовательной школы. Материал
урока (тест, экологические знаки, энергетический контракт) может быть
использован на уроках и внеклассных мероприятиях, где рассматриваются проблемы
окружающей среды и прививается любовь и трепетное отношение к природе.
Цели:
1) Обобщение материала по теме «Окружающая
среда»
2)Активизация лексико-грамматических навыков
и навыков письма.
3) Реализация умения использования
информационно-коммуникационных технологий на уроке.
4)Привитие любви и уважительного отношения к
природе.

Начало урока
Children, what is the name of the
planet we live on?
Is the Earth our home?
Must we take care of it? Of
course, we must!
Who must fight against cruelty to
animals?
Not only grown-ups, not only
zoological societies and environmental groups, I’m sure taking care of the
Earth is everybody’s business. Do you agree with me?
So the theme of our lesson “Are You a Friend of the
Planet?” Let’s begin.
2. Listen
to the small environmental poem
The Earth is a garden
It’s a beautiful place
For all living creatures
For all human race.
-
Now repeat after me
-
What is the main idea of the poem? Is our Planet for people only? No,
animals, birds, insects live on it. Do they want to live? Can they feel pain?
Good. So the 1st task for you.
3. Read
the line and name the word which does not belong
- sheep, cow, horse, bear, dog, pig, goat
- whale, penguin, shark, dolphin crocodile
- eagle, hen, duck, cock, turkey (Name domestic birds and
animals)
- to pollute, to damage, to protect, to hurt
- To save, to help, to protect, to kill (Ask each other
questions using the verb must)
4. Well
done! The 2nd task for you. Make up sentences. Where do animals
live?

5. You
know people sometimes treat the Earth badly. They break the rules. Look at the
pictures and say where pollution comes from. Who pollute nature?

Pollution comes from factories.

Cars, lorries, busses pollute the air
-
Plants pollute rivers, seas and oceans. (Water is home for birds!)
-
People cut down trees.
-
Tourists leave litter in the forest.
-
Hunters kill birds and animals.
You see our Planet is in danger. We must save it.
6. Have
you heard the name of M. Prishvin? He is a Russian writer. He admired our
beautiful nature and he was a person who protected nature, who helped the
Earth.

Now, boys and girls, how would
you interpret the following motto to your friends from Britain
or the USA

Every person needs the Motherland

7. There are a lot of ways in which we can help the
Earth. The easiest way not to break the rule

8. Have you seen any of these signs? What do they
mean? Match slogans in English and in Russian
