                                Урок английского языка в 9 классе.

                                 Тема урока:»STYLE AND FASHION»

 

 

 

 

ЦЕЛЬ:

         -Совершенствование навыков, умений устной речи.

 

ЗАДАЧИ:

 

 

1.      Образовательные :

 

- Развитие навыков диалогической речи.

- Развитие навыков монологической речи.

- Дальнейшее формирование умения употребления лексики.

 

2.      Развивающие:

  

  - Развитие познавательных интересов учащихся, развитие

     Навыков систематизации, обобщения, сравнения.

 

3.      Воспитательные:

  

  - Воспитывать интерес к изучению иностранного языка,

    Воспитывать культуру общения, эстетический вкус,

    Формировать личностные качества: самостоятельность,

     Трудолюбие, творчество.

 

Тип урока: Обобщение и систематизация знаний.

Метод поведения: практическое занятие с элементами

 Исследовательской деятельности.

 

Средства обучения: Учебник «Enjoy English» 9 класс,

                                   Компьютер,проектор, карточки по

                                   Теме, текст для поискового чтения

                                    «ADIDAS».

 

 

 

 

 

 

                      Ход урока.

 

 

1.      Оргмомент.

 

       T: Good morning dear children and guests. I am glad to see you. We are

            Going to speak about “ Style and fashion”. We’ll try to discuss the

            Words of wisdom by S. Maugham” The well dressed man is he whose

        Clothes you never notice”

 

 

2.      Речевая зарядка .

 

           What kind of  words  and expressions can be used with the word “ Clothes”

 

      ( слайд )  Traditional, original, fashionable, suitable, warm, clean, dirty, neat,

                        Conservative, the latest fashion, to be in fashion, to be out of fashion,

                       A fashion designer, to design fashion, unisex fashion, fashion for the

                        Young and for the adults, old-fashioned.

 

3        Look at the picture and try to divide these words into two  groups.

 

                   -                     Clothes                                   +

 

 

4        Now I want you to listen to the dialogue and answer the questions: Why do these

People disagree with each other?

Ex.2pg.103.

P1- Carrie said she was not going to wear a dress because she thought it was

   Old-fashioned.

P 2 – She also thought  everyone would laugh at her

P 3 – As for me I also don’t like to wear such kind of dresses.

 

 

5        T. Speaking about clothes we can’t help talking about style and fashion.

            What some people think about fashion?

           ( This table will help you)

 

 P1 –I know that boys wear comfortable clothes just to show their individuality/they

 Are not really bothered about brands and logos.

P2 – I want to add they prefer cheap clothes.

P3 – Speaking about the girls, we can say they keep up with latest trends. They want  to be

 Fashionable and buy clothes from top designers.

P4 – They buy clothes in supermarkets and in second-hand shops.

P 5 – Fashion is something we deal with every day.

 

6. T. – When we speak about clothes we should speak about styles of clothing.

            There are a lot of styles, what kind of styles do you know?

    P-s  : classical, modern, extravagant, sport style, conservative.

    T. – Things come and go. They change. But some things in teenage fashion

            Don’t change. Let’s organize a kind of sociological research/ p-s work in groups/

        

            -“ What do you prefer to wear in your free time?

              / boots,shoes,trainers,jeans, trousers, skirts, dress, shirts, blouses, T-shirts/

 

         P1 from  the whole group: “ We like wearing sport unofficial clothes, such as T-shirts,

                                                    Jeans, trainers. Because this is a teenage style, its unisex.

                                                    Wearing such clothes you feel comfortable. They don’t cost

                                                      A lot of money, you can change designs and colour very often.

 

      7  T. – “ You’ve listened about your classmates’ opinions. What can you say about yourselves.

                   What are your views on clothes. Use the language in the box to show your point of

                    View.

P1- I prefer wearing sport clothes.

P2 – I hate wearing school uniform/

P3 – I don’t fancy wearing a black velvet dress.

P4 – He prefers wearing formal style.

P5 -  She hates wearing high boots/

 

      8. T.- Different places need different clothes. And now listen to me please. Where can we go

               In these clothes?

           a/ She is wearing a black dress, tights and high heeled black shoes. Her earings and bracelet are from “The Jewel shop” She is carrying a black bag.

           b/He is wearing a black T-shirt, red shorts and black trainers.

 

      9 T.- What can we wear for different occasions?

 

                                 For sports and games you should wear…

 

/ -track suit,trainers,-you shouldn’t wear high heeled shoes, - you shouldn’t wear classical things,

    -comfortable things to feel good in.

 

                                For school you should wear…

/- school uniform, - don’t wear jewellery, - you should wear clothes in the right size, - comfortable shoes.

 

                                  For a job application you should wear…

 

/-you shouldn’t wear sport clothes, - smart clothes, - you should have a light make up,-clothes

 In the right size,neat and tidy./

 

 

10. T.- Choosing your style of clothes, we should visit many shops. Shopping has become more

      Exciting than it used to be. It is proved that shopping or just window shopping helps to make

      Your mood better, helps to avoid depression. It is good for our health sometimes forget about

       Everything and go shopping.

 

11. T. – And now write down your home task. There is the text “ Adidas”. Try to give a brief

         Summery of it or make up your own text about shopping.

 

12. T. – In conclusion I want to know, is it important to find your own style and to wear something that suits you?

P1 – If you want to find a job, you must wear smart and neat clothes.

P2 – It’s very important to wear right clothes for different situations.

P3 -  It’s bad to look alike; that’s why we musn’t forget about fashion,too.

P4 -  Clothes make the first impressions.

 

!3. T. – I hope that you will never forget about it and your appearance will help you to be successful. ( подведение итогов, выставление  оценок)

 

 

 Text” Adidas”

This shop is situated in the centre of our  town. This shop is famous among sportsmen. There you can buy special sport clothes. If you are a pupil you can find some suits for physical education lessons. If you are a girl and are fond of fitnaese or dancing you should visit this shop.

It is  plenty to choose: skirts and blouses, jackets and coats, special  equipment for doing sport.

Adidas is a well-known firm so the prices are high there. Where do you go shopping for clothes?

 How much money do you  spend on clothes? Краткое описание материала

В ходе урока учащиеся ответят на следующие вопросы:
- что такое мода и стиль?
- как относятся к одежде девочки?
- как относятся к одежде мальчики?
- что можно носить из одежды в свободное от учебы время?
- что формирует культуру общения и эстетический вкус?
- как следует одеваться в школу?
- как следует одеваться на спортивные соревнования?
- как найти свой собственный стиль, а не слепо следовать моде?
В рамках изучения темы учащиеся закрепляют лексические единицы по теме урока, учатся выражать свое мнение, используя ключевые слова и выражения по теме урока, приобретают знания и умения для повседневной жизни.
