1. активизировать лексические навыки по теме
«Животные в нашей жизни»;
2. совершенствовать навыки поискового чтения;
3. совершенствовать навыки аудирования и
говорения
Ход урока
1. Организационный момент:
Good morning! How are you
today? Let's begin our lesson.
2. Фонетическая зарядка:
Yesterday there was a weekend.
And I hope you had a nice time. So, let's read a poem and see how the children
spent it:

Let's have a party

5. What 2 things they can do at the weekend?
6. Which of the activities do you like to do?

Now imagine that we have a
chance to visit the Moscow Zoo. Would you like to do it ?
1. Do you think what animals we can see there? (Look
through the text and find them)
2. What other animals can we see in the zoo?
3. Are there any endangered animals?
4. What animals can we see in the zoo: domestic or wild?
5. What domestic animals can't we see in the zoo?
6. Let's return to the Moscow Zoo: what animals can young
children see? (Find and read the sentence in the text)
7. Can you give characteristics of the following animals
and birds? (Leopard, dolphin, bear, elephant, tiger, emu). Name them.
Please, find some other
adjectives in your home text (exotic, colourful, white snow, Asian, Australian)
8. What words from the text can we find on the board

animals and other living creatures. Now, look at the board, use the
pictures and describe your route around the Moscow Zoo. Say, what you are

10. What would you like to visit in the Moscow Zoo? Why?
11. Imagine that all of you are the director of the Moscow
Zoo. What would you do as the director . Ex12 p.107

But today is Monday, so the
Zoo is closed. And it's time to listen to the dialogue of two people who are
working in the zoo.
I want you to open your books
at page 117 Ex41
You can see the table and you
will fill it in.
