Цели:
Образовательная:
§ Совершенствовать навыки чтения и монологической речи;
§ Совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком по заданной теме.
Развивающая:
§ Развивать интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка, культуре и традициям Великобритании и России;
§ Расширить страноведческий кругозор учащихся;
§ Развитие умения работать в коллективе.
Воспитательная:
§ Воспитание толерантности к другим странам, их культуре и традициям.
Оборудование: доска, компьютер, презентации к заданиям.

Good morning pupils. How are you today? I’m very glad to see you. Sit down. We have an unusual lesson today. Today we will play in the game. I want to get acquainted you with our jury. The head of jury is … And the members of jury are … We speak about Great Britain and the Russian Federation. We will remember some facts about these countries. Now you will divide into two groups. You must imagine the name for your commands and tell us about it. You have 1 minute.
Now let’s begin. The 1st task. Every group gets ten questions. Your task is to choose the right answer to the question. One right answer is one point. If your group can’t answer the question another group gets this question.

Very well. It is a good beginning. Let’s continue. The 2nd task. You see the six topics. Every group gets three topics. Look at the blackboard on the table of points. Topic “Colors” – 2 points for the answer. Topic “A pig in a poke” – 3 points for the answer. Topic “A magic two” – 4 points for the answer. Topic “Vocabulary” – 5 points for the answer. Topic “Nouns” – 6 points for the answer. Topic “Verbs” – 7 points for the answer. Choose the topic and answer the questions.
