Обучающиеся: студенты 2 курса, специальности «Преподавание в начальных классах с дополнительной подготовкой в области иностранного языка»

Тема: «Friendship».


Практические: 1.Развитие навыков ознакомительного вида чтения.

2. Развитие коммуникативных навыков у учащихся.

Общеобразовательные: 1. Знакомство с творчеством О.Уайльда (сказка «Преданный друг»).

2. Развитие навыков техники чтения.

3. Развитие грамматических навыков по теме «Past Simple».

Развивающие: 1.Развитие фонетических навыков у учащихся.

2.Развитие умения быстро переключать внимание с одного задания на другое.

Воспитывающие: Содействие воспитанию дружелюбия и сочувствия.

Языковой материал: 1. Новые лексические единицы: once upon a time, bother, pasture, mend, indeed, sack, reach, noble ideas.

2. Грамматический материал по теме «Past Simple».

Речевой материал: 1. Сказка О. Уайльда «Преданный друг».

2.Задания по развитию навыков изучающего вида чтения.

Оснащение урока: сказка «Преданный друг», карточки с заданиями, название темы, слова по теме, интерактивная доска.

-Good morning, dear students!

-I am glad to see you. Sit down, please.

-Today we will speak about friendship.

-Look at the blackboard and tell me what your associations with the word friendship are and explain your choice. (Understanding, because we can trust everything to our friend. Happiness, because you and your friend have good time together…)

-Come to the blackboard and write down the words.

-Great associations!

-At our lesson we will read the text which is called «Devoted friend». It is about friendship.

-Before reading I want you to ask some questions on this theme.

-What is friendship for you? (It is very important because you have a person who suggest you and understand)

-Who is a friend? (Friend is a person whom you can trust)

-What is the most important thing in friendship? (The most important thing in friendship is good relationship)

-What do you do with your friends? (go for a walk, celebrate holidays, tell secrets…)

-Thank you very much.

-Now we will read the text, but let’s start getting acquainted with the words from the text.

-Let’s read them repeat after me (Teacher-Class), then one by one (Pupil1-Pupil2), Pupil3 read them for us (Pupil1, Pupil2, Pupil3).

-Thank you.

-Now I will give you the cards with the definitions of these words you should try to understand their meaning in pairs.

-Then come to the blackboard and match the translation with the words.

-Well done!

-To know the words better let’s do one exercise.

-You will work in pairs again. You should put the missing words to the sentences.

-Let’s check it up and then read the text.

-So now you are ready to read the text and understand it better.

-That is why let’s read it during 5 minutes.

-To know how you understand the text I have some tasks for you.

-You will work in 2 teams to have opportunity discuss the text.

-The first team will answer on the questions according to the text.

-The second team will mark the sentences true or false.

-Then we will discuss your answers altogether.

-Let’s discuss your answers.

-So what conclusion can we make? (Friendship is really important for people)

-How should we behavior with our friends? (we should help them, trust and understand)

-Was the Miller a true friend? Why? (No, he was not because he told the lies and betrayed Hans)

-I see that you understand the text very well.

-But to confirm your knowledge in grammar tell me please: in what tense did this text write? (Past Simple)

-Right! Remember me please the form of this tense. (regular verbs-verb+ed, irregular verbs-the second form)

-Well. Now find from the text 3 regular and 3 irregular verbs from the text and make up the sentences with it, also negative and interrogative forms of it. (worked: My parents worked yesterday. My parents did not work yesterday/ Did my parents work yesterday?)

-I will give you the marks for this work that is why do it at the sheet of paper.

-Pass me your sheets of paper.

-And to sum up our lesson.

-What words have you known today? (pasture, sack, indeed…)

-What can you tell me about friendship after reading? (We should take care of our friends…)

-What was interesting for you? (to match the words and definitions, work in pairs…)

-You did the tasks very well.

-Thank you for your working today.

-Now write down your home task.

-You should write down your attitude to the text and to friendship. Also find the information about O.Wilde and make up the presentation.

-Thank you for the lesson, goodbye!

The Devoted friend be O. Wilde

Once upon a time there was honest little fellow named Hans. He lived in a tiny cottage by himself, and every day he worked in his garden. In all the country-side there was no garden as lovely as his. There were damask Roses, and yellow Roses, lilac Crocuses, gold, purple Violets and white. Little Hans had many friends, but the most devoted friend of all was the Miller. Indeed, so devoted was the rich Miller to little Hans that he would never go by his garden without filling his pockets with plums and cherries if it was the fruit season or a handful of sweet herbs.

"Real friends should have everything in common," the Miller used to say, and little Hans nodded and smiled, felt very proud of having a friend with such noble ideas. So little Hans worked in his garden. During the spring, the summer, and the autumn he was very happy, but when the winter came, and he had no fruit or flowers to bring the market, he suffered a lot from cold and hunger, and of had to go to bed without any supper but a few dried poor some hard nuts. In the winter, also, he was extremely lonely, as the Miller never came to see him then. "There is no good in my going to see little Hans as long as the snow lasts," the Miller used to say to his wife, "because when people are in trouble they should be left alone, and not be bothered by visitors. So I shall wait till the spring comes, and then I shall pay him a visit, and he will be able to give me a large basket of roses and that will make him so happy."

As soon as the winter was over, all the roses began to open their pale yellow stars, the Miller came to Hans. "Well, really," cried Hans, "it is very good of you to ask very good indeed. I am afraid I had rather a hard time of it, but now the spring has come, and I am quite happy, and all my flowers are doing well." "We often talked of you during the winter, Hans," said the Miller, "and wondered how you were getting on."

It was a very hot day, and the road was terribly dusty, and before Hans had reached the sixth milestone he was so tired that he had to sit down and rest. However, he went on bravely, and at last he reached the market. After he had waited there some time, he sold the sack of flour for a very good price, and then he returned home at once, for he was afraid that if he stopped too late he might meet some robbers on the way.

One day the Miller came to Hans again and asked him to mend his roof. Hans couldn’t refuse him although he had a lot of work in his garden. He worked there all day long, till sunset, and at sunset the Miller came to see how he was getting on. At last he did it and nothing with his flowers. But next day he asked him to drive his sheep to the mountain. Hans pastured off with them to the mountain. It took him the whole day to get there and back; and when he returned he was so tired that he went off to sleep in his chair, and did not wake up till it was broad daylight.

So little Hans worked for the Miller many times. Now it happened that one evening little Hans was sitting by his fireside when it was very wild night, and the wind was blowing and roaring round the house so terribly that at first he thought it was merely the storm. The night had passed. Hans went out to his garden and saw a terrible picture. There were no flowers in his garden; he realized that he wouldn’t have money, food and life. His “best friend” didn’t help him.

конспект урока английского языка для учащихся 7 класса с приложением на интерактивную доску и необходимыми материалами к нему.Представленный конспект урока посвящен обучению чтения. Урок обучения чтению полностью соответствует методике обучения иностранному языку. Он состоит из следующих этапов: 1. Организационный момент (где преподаватель приветствует учащихся  и проводит речевую зарядку); 2. Этап обучения чтению, который включает в себя: а) предтекстовый этап (где преподаватель проводит работу с лексикой-презентация лексических единиц, снятие лексических и фонетических трудностей, первичное закрепление лексики), б) текстовый этап; в) послетекстовый этап (где преподаватель осуществляет работу по развитию навыков ознакомительного вида чтения); 3.
