Unit IV. «Sport is fun». Section 2. «Keeping
fit».
Практические задачи
- Практиковать учащихся в использовании
лексики по теме « Keeping Fit» в серии языковых и
речевых упражнений.
- Обучать чтению текста с выборочным
извлечением информации.
- Практиковать учащихся в умении кратко
высказываться в соответствии с предложенной ситуацией.
- Развивать умение понимать на слух
информацию, передаваемую при помощи несложного текста и выражать свое
понимание в требуемой форме (заполнить таблицу).
- Обеспечить работу по автоматизации и
коррекции произносительных навыков.
Развивающие задачи
- Развивать логическое мышление, языковую
догадку, умение сопоставлять, синтезировать информацию, развивать
аналитические способности учащихся.
Воспитательные задачи
- Формирование здорового образа жизни
- Привитие интереса и уважения к традициям
других стран, для социальной адаптации, достижения взаимопонимания в
процессе общения через спорт.

Ход урока
1. Организационный момент, приветствие
It’s time to say hello and start our lesson.
Good morning, children!

5. Развитие навыков чтения по теме
It’s time to read information and find out how people keep
fit.
It’s ex.16 p.104 from your textbooks. The task is to read
the text to you self for 3-4 minutes and then answer how people can keep fit.
6. Формирование навыков устной речи по теме
Please, divide into two groups.
The 1st group will name not less 3 purposes to
keep fit.
The 2nd to name not less 3 ways to keep fit.
You will have 3 minutes.

7. Физ. минутка
I see you are tired. Let’s have a rest. Listen to me and do
the following.
I wiggle my fingers,
I wiggle my toes,
I wiggle my shoulders,
I wiggle my nose.
Now no more wiggles are left in me.
So I will be still as can be.

You’ll listen to the students talking about keeping fit. You
should fill in the table.

Listen to the dialogue carefully and get ready to tell about
Anna and Mark.

What Russian proverbs on the topic «Keeping Fit» do you know?
Let’s learn the English proverbs? (На доске английские пословицы).
An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Eat with pleasure, drink
with measure.
Can you explain them?
Look here! You can see different pictures of one man. His
name is Robin the Bobbin. Do you know him? Let's listen to the English poem
about him. Let's read the poem after the announcer. Read the poem in pairs,
please. Who wants to read the poem aloud? Two poets translated this
popular poem. Kate will read the first translation. Mike
will read the second variant of this poem in Russian.
10. Домашнее задание
To make up dialogues using ex.26, 27, p.106.
Can you suggest another variant of translation of the poem
and some new English and Russian proverbs?

CORRESPONDENT: Hi, I am a correspondent of a Youth sports
magazine May I ask you a few questions?
ANNA: Yes, certainly.
MARK: OK.
CORRESPONDENT: Do you think it's important to keep bit for a
teenager?
ANNA: Yes, I do. Girls care about how they look. When I feel
that I'm getting out of shape I stop eating chocolate, sweets and fast good.
MARK: I can't live without Coke, сhips
and cheeseburgers. It's easier for me to do sports twice a week than to diet.
CORRESPONDENT: What sports do you prefer?
MARK: I prefer sports, which I can do any season. So I go to
a sports centre at school. It helps me to look cool and athletic. Sometimes I
play football with my friends or go swimming.
ANNA: Most girls in our school do aerobics. It helps us to
relax and to get rid of stress. When I don't have time to go to my fitness
class, I go jogging in the park.
