Урок английского языка по теме "Семья"( М.З. Биболетова)


  1. Активизировать речевую деятельность.

  2. Развивать все виды речевой деятельности.

  3. Закрепить лексический материал по теме “Семья”, “Черты характера”.


  • практика речевой деятельности (монологической, диалогической, аудирование);

  • активизация лексики по теме;

  • повторение и закрепление грамматического материала (отрицательные приставки);

  • формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений;

  • формирование умения работать в команде, помогать друг другу.

Этапы урока:

  2. Фонетическая зарядка.

  3. Речевая зарядка.

  4. Целеполагание.

  5. Аудирование.

  6. Физкультминутка.

  7. Монологические высказывания.

  8. Групповая работа.

  9. Активизация навыков устной речи по теме “Hobbies”.

  10. Домашнее задание.

  11. Подведение итогов урока.

Ход урока

I. Оргмомент.

T: Good morning! I’m glad to see you again. How are you?

Who is on duty today? Who is absent? Why is he/she absent?

What date is it today? What day is it today? What is the weather like today?

II. Фонетическая зарядка.

T: So, children, let’s sing a song.

Do you remember it? (Jingles bell)

Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
Through the fields we go
Laughing all the way.
Bells on bob-tail ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight.

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride

III. Речевая зарядка.

T: Not long ago you had your winter holidays. I think you had a wonderful time. Let’s speak about it!

Answer my questions, please!

Did you watch TV during your winter holidays? What was your favourite TV programme?

Did you go out with your friends? Where did you go? What films did you see?

What books and magazines did you read? Did you visit your granny? …

2) Now I would like some students to tell us about their winter holidays.

T: 1)And now, dear children, let’s play the game “Snowball” and remember the English adjectives. The person who will say the last word will be the winner.

2) Now look at these words. Say the word which has the opposite meaning of the word given

Famous Lucky

Dependent Tidy

Polite Plesant

Formal Known

Possible Usual

3) And now let’s speak about different traits of character.

Look at the pictures. Ask your friend about main characteristics of these children.



(kind, shy, sad, athletic, funny, naughty, clever)

IV. Целеполагание.

T: What does the word “family” mean? What does the family mean for you? What is a typical English family? What is a typical Russian family? So, at today’s lesson we’ll speak about the family.

Now answer my questions, please:

  • What is your mother’s (…) name?

  • How old is she (…)?

  • What does she (…) do?

  • What is she (he) like?

  • What is her (…) hobby?

V. Аудирование.

T: I know that you like to recite poems. Today we’ll learn a new poem.

Listen to it and try to understand.

Do you like this poem? What is it about?

Open your books, p. 46, ex.15.

Read the poem after the speaker. Read the poem together with your friend.

VI. Физкультминутка.

T: I think you are tired a little. Let’s do exercises!

Clap, clap, clap your hands
Clap your hands together
Stamp, stamp, stamp your feet,
Stamp your feet together.
Nod, nod, nod your heads,
Nod your heads together,
Dance, dance, dance a dance
Dance a dance together.

VII. Монологические высказывания.

T: Can you get on well with each other in your family? Do the members of your family understand you all the time? Can you say that you have an ideal family? Let’s speak about an ideal family. Open your books, p.46, ex.16. Read the example and describe an ideal family.

VIII. Групповая работа.

T: We can’t live without rules. There are different rules: school rules, rules of the road, rules of safety, courtesy and preventive fire-fighting regulations. But I think there are much more rules: rules for teachers and students, rules for bosses and ordinary workers. Now we shall do some group work. Split into two groups. Let’s speak about rules for parents and their children. Ex. 17, p. 46. Read the rules for parents and their children. Add your own rules. Use your sense of humour. Rules for parents are for the 1st team, rules for children are for the 2nd team. We’ll choose the best rules, the cruellest, the funniest and the silliest.

IX. Активизация навыков устной речи по теме “Hobbies”.

T: Now let’s look at Ex. 18. p. 47! Do you know what a hobby is? What hobbies are for children? What hobbies are for grown-ups? What hobbies are dull (funny; pleasant)?

What hobbies are good for your health? What hobbies are useful (no use for anyone)? Etc.

Tell us about your hobbies, using these questions as a plan:

Do you have a hobby? What is it? What is interesting about your hobby? Is it useful? Why?

How much time do you spend on your hobby?

X. Домашнее задание.

Ex. 7, p. 56

Make a Family Coat of Arms – Draw a picture of it.

Think about your family for a while. What animal, plant, bird, flower or object would you pick to tell about your family? What colours would you pick? The following ideas may help you.

Ask your parents if your family's last name means anything.

Think of what your family likes to do. (Does your family like to play a game of any sport, such as football or tennis? Do they like to read, travel? How would you show these things on a coat of arms?)

Is there a special word or phrase that your family always says?

-What pets live in your family? And so on...

XII. Подведение итогов урока.

С помощью данного конспекта вы сможете активизировать на уроке  рече-мыслительную деятельность у обучающихся, формировать и развить коммуникативные умения и навыки,  развивать мышление, умение дать оценку. Кроме того, обучающиеся учатся  высказывать свое мнение на английском языке. А также данный конспект помогает воспитывать культуру общения, формировать умения работать в команде (командный дух), помогать друг другу; воспитывать чувство толерантности. Хороший вариант для закрепления изученных знаний.
