1.Good morning boys and girls. Sit down please.

Dear children, we have got many guests today. I think that you are glad to have guests today.

Look at the blackboard, please.

Let’s read the title of our lesson (Children say). Yes, you are right. The title of our lesson is “The living world” Now, let’s continue our lesson.

  1. Who is on duty today?

  2. What is the date today?

  3. What is the day today?

  4. Who is absent today?

  5. What was your home task for today?


2. Now, look at the blackboard, please.

Today we shall take a new rhyme: “A black cat”. I shall read this rhyme and you listen to me very attentively. And then you shall read line by line and translate this rhyme.

A black cat

Sat on a mat

And ate a fat rat

(Children are reading)


Let’s read the rhyme again.

Let’s translate this rhyme.

Now, who wants to retell this rhyme?

3. Let’s talk about animals.

T: Children! What kind of animals do you know?

Ch: a wolf, a rabbit, a cat, a dog, a tiger, an elephant, a monkey, a mouse, a rat etc.

T: Very good.

T: Altynbek, have you seen a fox anywhere?

P1: Yes, I have. I have seen a fox in the forest.

T: What colour was a fox?

P1: It was an orange and white.

T: Saule, have you seen a rabbit anywhere?

P2: Yes, I have. I have seen a rabbit on TV.

T: Timur, and what about you?

P3: As for me, I saw a rabbit in the forest and in a field.

T: What colour was a rabbit?

P3: It was black and white.

T: Ainel, have you seen a wolf anywhere?

P4: Yes, I have. I have seen a rabbit on TV programmer and in the forest.

T: How do you think a wolf is wild or domestic animal?

P4: I think that it is a wild animal because it lives in the forest.

T: What kinds of animals live there?

Ch: a squirrel, a monkey, a snake, a tiger, a lion, a wolf, a fox, an elephant etc.


4. Let’s check up your home task.

Open your books at page 39, Ex.2

Today we shall take the text: “About animals”. You know that there are a lot of new words that’s why let’s check up these words.

Look at the blackboard and repeat after me all together…
