Scotland is the country in the United Kingdom to the North of England It’s symbol is a thistle It’s patron saint is St. Andrew St Andrew's day is celebrated on the 30th November. The Scottish flag is the cross of St. Andrew. He is believed to have died on a diagonally transversed cross.
