The theme: Our favourite recipes.

Aims: To teach talking about recipes. And talking about favourite recipes.

The objectives: To develop the pupils reading, listening, writing and speaking skills.

The aids: new words, cards, ball, pictures, posters.

Procedure of the lesson.

  1. Organization moment:

  • Good morning boys and girls?

  • How are you? I nice to meet you!

  • Come to me everybody?

Then I’ll give you ball and I ask guestion. Then one pupil must answer my guestion and he’ll give this ball to another person and ask guestion. For example: Teacher: How is on duty today? – 1 pupil: I’m duty today. 1 pupil – 2 pupil: What date is it today? 2 pupil: Today is the 26 th of November. 2 pupil - 3 pupil. 3 pupil - 4pupil. 4 pupil – 5 pupil.



  1. Warm up. Look at the blackboard. You see phonetic drill .

Let’s remember the English sound and words.

[s] – [s] – [s] – some, sweet, juice, sorry

[z] – [z] – [z] – chesse, please, apples

[n] – [n] – [n]- lemon, banana, sandwich

[o:] - [o:] – [o:] -corn, morning.



  1. Checking the home task. Exercises 12, 13. Let’s ask this guestions to each other. Pupiles ask this guestions to each other.

Exercise 12.

  1. What people eat at FFR?

  2. How people eat the meal at FFR?

  3. Why FFRs are popular?

  4. What people don’t like there?





Exercise 13

  1. Can you buy hamburgers and Coke there?

  2. Are there waiters there?

  3. Can you see knives, forks and plates at FFR?



  1. What are the cups, bags and boxes made of?

  2. What do you do at the end of the meal?



  1. Explaining the theme: The theme of our lesson: Our favourite recipes.

Pupils answer the guestions: What’s your favourite recipes?



  1. Look at the blackboard.1.What do you see on this picture? This is Bill and Bill’s recipe. I read Bill’s recipe and you listen carefully. You see new words. Repeat after me!

Peanut, butter, two pieces of bread, honey, bread

Then pupils read diologue.

  1. Open your books and copy books on page 80. Ex 5. Read the story.





Teacher: I’ll give you text with new words! I divided this text into three part. You have translate and retell this text.

  1. Doing exercises 6. Complete the sentences. Look at the pictures and number them.

  2. Pupil repeat new words: pepper, soft, saucepan, stone, onion, ham, sausage, beans.



  1. Conclusion. Your marks.
