-         Hello, my dear children. Today we will have a big trip around the world. We will visit all the contents which our planet has. Do you want to start? We will have three groups. The first row will be the first group. The second row will be the second group and the third group will be the third group. You will have two minutes to come up with the titles and pick out the captains of your groups.

-         Yeeeees.

-         Let’s start our fun trip. The fist continent will be Africa. Do you know animals which live there?

-         Называют животных.

-         I need the captains of your groups. Every group will get one card and you are to subscribe the animals which you have. You will have two minutes to do this task.

  

After this task we count the points.

-         The next continent will be Australia. The continent of capabilities. Look at the black board.  We will have 8 sentences. You are to fill in the gaps with the modal verb can

(can’t). You are to remember what animals can do and what they can’t do. You will have 5 minutes to do this task.

We count the point and announce the results.

-         We are to guess the next continent according to the photo-rebus. The first command which will guess the continent will get 2 points.  Look at the blackboard.

 

-         Yes, it is North America. And the task will be to guess the animal according to their description. I read the descriptions and the first person who raises his hand and says the animal properly get 1 point.

a)This animal is very big. It is grey. It has a very long nose and two large ears. It lives in Asia and Africa. It likes to eat leaves, fruit and grass.

b) This animal lives at home or in the street. It is a man’s friend. It can run, but can’t fly and climb. It is very clever and friendly.

c) This animal is large and heavy. It lives in Africa and Asia. It has one or two sharp horns on its head and it has thick skin. It eats fruit, leaves and grass.

d) It is a large animal. It has large paws with sharp claws. It can climb and swim very well. Animals like to eat meat, fish, plants, berries and honey.

e) This animal can be black, grey, white or red. It lives in the house. It can catch grey mouse. It likes milk, meat and fish. It can jump, run, climb and walk.

f) It is a large animal. It lives in Africa. It eats plants, grass and grain. It has a long neck and two humps. It can live without water for 10 months.

g) It is a bird. It lives at the farm. It can lay eggs.

h) It is a big animal. It lives at the farm. It gives us milk. This animal eats plants and grass.

We count the point and announce the results.

-         The next continent is divided into two parts but it is one continent. Do you know how it is called?

-         Eurasia!

-         Great!

-         This task will be difficult but I am sure that we will be able to do it. Look at the blackboard. You are to match the flags with the countries. You will have 3 minutes to do this task.

-         The next continent you are to guess. Listen! This continent is very cold. It has many polar bears and penguins. It is full of ice.

-         Antarctica!

-         Yes! Great!

-         You are to rearrange the words according to the two columns. Look!  You have the first column which is called «Summer». We are to write the words or word combinations which mention us about summer days. And the second column which is called «Winter». We are to write the words which mention us about winter.

Snow, grass, a dress, a coat, basketball, volleyball, to ski, to water flowers, a Christmas tree, a tan, berries, mushrooms, a snowman, sunny, windy.

We count the point and announce the results.

-         And what is the last continent which we haven’t visited.  

-         South America!

-         Yes! You are right!

-         And the last task will be a crossword. I need the captains of every group. I will give you crosswords and you are to return them in 8 minutes. You will start!

-         It was the last task.  Let me three minutes to count your points.  Look at the blackboard and watch a small video about the continent.

-         Today the winner is the group number ….. .  We have presents for everyone. You are very clever, smart and active. This lesson was incredible!
